I have a 2014 bmw 328i. One of the lug nuts had a stripped head and was not able to remove it. Took the car to couple of mechanics and they couldn’t remove it either. One mechanic even refused to try, because he was afraid that he might damage the wheel. After unsuccessful attempts with couple of tools from amazon, decided to try one last attempt with Topec tool kit (1/2 inch square drive). This product is awesome, it worked so perfectly and able to remove the damaged lug nut on my first attempt. This is the first time I am writing a review in my life. I really struggled for few weeks and wanted to share my experience with you so that you know which product will help you to accomplish your project.

The extractor didn't work for me and failed to remove a rounded 17mm lug nut on a BMW. The teeth inside the extractor ended up being rounded too, which I guess is going to happen to all extractors like this eventually like a knife or drill bit being dulled. So any buyer needs to be aware of that these extractors won't last. I ended up drilling out the lug nut with a cobalt drill bit. I would've given this product a neutral 3 stars, but the seller was really nice and offered to replace the kit. Bumping the rating up for the excellent customer service.

I only used this once to remove locking lug nuts on my car after the lock tool broke and I could not find a replacement. The tool gripped deep onto the lug nut after gently hammering it on. The lug nuts were very tight, but the tool did not lose grip. I successful removed all four locking lug nuts. Great value for the money and a time savings compared to paying for labor at the tire shop. Glad that I have this set now as part of my collection.

This kit only worked for one of my 4 wheel locks. I was able to get it off with the 22mm socket, but was unable to hammer it down on any of the other three lugs. It is like once I used it the first time, it had worn down the metal gripping slots inside. I had to order a 19mm 12 point socket to hammer onto the last three key locks and it worked quiet well and only cost about $8.00. The best thing about this kit is the little knock out bar to hammer out the key locks from socket once you have removed it.

Worked as expected on the safety lugs that I needed to remove from a used car I bought.

I ordered this item with next-day delivery, but unfortunately it didn’t arrive as promised. After waiting two days, the estimated delivery was pushed back to December 10—eight days later than the advertised date. To make matters worse, there was no option available to cancel the order. Update: The product has now arrived, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The extractor sockets are of excellent quality. I used them on a BMW X1 where the wheel lugs had been severely over-torqued. Even with a long breaker bar and an impact tool, two out of twenty lugs (5 per wheel) became rounded and impossible to remove without an removal tool. These extractors proved invaluable: they gripped deeply into the damaged lugs with no sign of slippage while I applied force using a 24-inch breaker bar. Both lugs were removed successfully, and the extractors themselves showed only minimal surface scratches—no real damage at all. Overall, despite the disappointing delivery experience, the product itself is outstanding. I would definitely purchase again if needed. Pictures attached

This 12 piece impact socket 1/2 inch drive set is amazing for removing rusted and stripped or rounded nut and bolt heads. There is an adapter to connect these sockets to an electric drill which is nice. There is also a metal rod to remove the nuts and bolts from the socket as it is often difficult to remove them due to these sockets digging into them. The sockets have the mm and inch sizes engraved into them for easy reading and it makes it last on the sockets for a very long time. The sharp edges do dig into the nuts and bolts very well and it makes removing difficult nuts quite easy. It is not often that I would need these removal sockets but these do save a lot of time and frustration when the situation comes up. There is a nice hard case to store and secure the sockets and to keep them from getting dinged and scratched. I also like that the case is yellow and it stands out as a sort of emergency colour for easy finding.

This kit comes in a nice blow moulded case to keep them organized and handy. The extractor are good quality steel with a durable powder coating. They are impact rated and even come with a 1/4" hex adapter. but take it easy if you are using an impact driver. I tested one of the extractors on a bolt that I haven't been able to remove for a long time. The bolt is rusted and in a hard to reach area. The end of the bolt is rounded from my multi8ple attempts at removing it with a standard socket. I used a hammer to seat the extractor onto the bolt. Then I used an impact gun on low speed. The bolt came right out. Very happy with this set. This is the kind of tool that if you need it nothing else will do. Would be a great gift for any handy person or mechanic. They will thank you over and over.
