Golden Artist Colors, GRIPR Tube Opener, Tool for Paint Cap Removal (T15-T)

This is a really useful tool when trying to open caps on paint tubes that are really stuck on. It spots for various size tops. Really saves my hands.

Works great on all types of artis acrylic and oril paints.

I liked this product so much that I ordered 2 more. I have a big easel upstairs that is too tall to fit in any of our rooms except our sunroom. I also occasionally go to painter workshops. I used to have to keep a pair of pliers on had that I was always trying to hunt down and remember to pack. Now I have 1 for my travel bag and one upstairs on my big easel and one in my studio. These things work great!

This feels very durable. It’s easy to use and not to small for your hand or to large for the paint cap as it has different grooves for different size caps.

I like this Gripr by Golden Artist Colors. Only complaint is that opening it enough to get the tube caps for their Heavy Body Acrylic Paints into the back 2 groove slots is way too difficult. But, in a bind or when the caps are not just stubborn, but downright frozen, it does help. Good for the money spent too.

Got this today and it instantly snapped in half when I tried to use it. Also, you should know there is no grippy texture or anything inside this its just smooth hard plastic that slides over paint caps. Cheap junk. Wish I never purchased it and I find it hard to believe Golden made this as their products are normally top tier.

I wished I would have known about this product years ago. It is so much easier to open up my paint lids that have dried it together on the bottle. I was using a knife to try the pry the lid loose enough from the bottle in order for me to take the lid off also hurting my hands in the process. I’m so glad I purchased this product.

I love this thing. It's incredibly helpful for opening tight paint tubes. A warning though! Don't tighten them with it, it can crack your lids.

Took a little trial and error, but this is now my go-to tool for opening small tubes of paint.
