This is probably one of the foulest things I have ever tasted, imagine chewing paracetamol and multi vitamin tablets and that's about 10% of how bad it tastes. I made the mistake of chucking a load of it on kefir yogurt thinking it would just be a bit malty, nearly vomited and wouldn't go near it, the smell alone made me gag.HOWEVER, thinking that I had to shift the 1kg bag I had bought I tried it out this time in a shake paired with cacao, agave, nut butter and hazelnut milk (couldn't be more pretentious), I added half a teaspoon of it (held my breath while doing so) and it was actually really nice. Having just a hint of it really paired well with the other flavours and I'll probably build it up to a full teaspoon one day. I would I it would go well in a strong flavoured protein shake too.Another reason for the 5 stars is that since having it every day for the last few weeks I have really felt my hormones begin to balance. I came off the pill earlier in the year and they were all over the shop but since I have started taking it my mood swings are almost non existent, I barely have any pms symptoms, I have less anxiety, I have more energy to train, I sleep better and my skin is clearer than it has been in years. Granted I pair it with a healthy and balanced diet so I'm sure it's not fully responsible for these changes, but I'm convinced it has played a part. My diet has always been consistently quite good and has changed little but since the introduction of this powder I've really noticed some changes.If you can find a way to have it daily in a way that doesn't make you vomit then I would highly recommend it, particularly for women (and I'm sure men too) who are feeling a bit hormonally imbalanced, I've also read that it helps with fertility but that you should check with a Dr first if you're pregnant or breast feeding.

I have been using this maca powder for a few weeks and I am very happy with it. It is organic, natural, vegan and gelatinised, which means it is easier to digest and absorb. It has a mild nutty flavour and mixes well with water, milk, smoothies or porridge. I feel more energised, balanced and less stressed since I started taking it. It also helps with hormonal issues, mood swings and libido. This is yellow Maca Root powder. There is no indication of strength or concentration but because it is gelatanised (cooked) this removes the starch and therefore achieves some concentration. If you add to porridge you will need an additional 50ml of water and an additional spoonful of honey or sugar. It's a root vegetable so the poor taste is to be expected. The dose is supposed to be 1 spoonful a day (I take two) and that weighs 4 grams thus 4000mg. Many capsules on the market do not work these days - this works. Gelatanised types are supposed to be slow acting but this is fast acting. I highly recommend this product.

Product met my expectation

I had never tried Maca before - I've been adding it to my yogurt and absolutely love the nutty taste and earthy aroma.I have yet to notice a huge difference in my daily routine but I've only just started taking it. It does add to my protein intake and I'm hoping to start feeling even more energetic soon.This make seems quite trustworthy, at a reasonable price so will continue to purchase it.

I enjoy Maca. Many benefits. I like the malty flavour. This is the most flavoursome Maca root powder I have tried. I noticed the enhanced aroma when opening the pack. The colour was a shade darker than I was used to. And the flavour deeper and more complex. All this points to a fresh product. The energy boost is palpable. Excellent, I will buy this regularly. Highly recommended for Maca fans.

Been taking Maca root for 1 month. I think it's had a small effect on my energy levels but my diet hasn't been great (way too much chocolate, crisps) so don't know if I've given it a fair go yet. Ordered my second bag. I quite like the taste. It's nowhere near as bad as essential greens that's for sure.Worth a try

Poudre parfaite pour ceux qui connaissent le Maca. Sinon c'est toujours un peu délicat de le melenger aux yaourt car il a un effet épaississant. Le top est de le mélanger avec un kefir liquide.

Profumata, gustosa, sembra una spezia, ma è un super-food! Io ne aggiungo 5 grammi alle proteine in polvere, oppure ai Cupcakes (a me ricorda i biscotti Lotus…); ne avverto gli effetti tonificanti, soprattutto sessuali…
