Dear Santa, Please bring me a new boss for Christmas. Mine is the worst. The worst, hidden in a six foot tall package of male perfection. It’d be easier if he looked like an old Scrooge, wouldn’t it? Nick Saint-Croix doesn’t look like an old scrooge. He’s hot as- Um, never mind. Just bring me a new boss. Please. Sincerely, Holly Winter Warning: Reindeer Falls is more naughty than nice. They're over-the-top Christmas with merrily-ever-afters guaranteed. These stories are novella length for quick holiday binging. Enjoy! Review: Lots of sharp-witted humor and very charming characters - Finding a new author whose work appeals to me is always rewarding, and with the story having a Christmas theme, I was doubly thrilled upon finishing the first book in the Reindeer Falls series. With lots of sharp-witted humor and very charming characters, Jana Aston kept me totally entertained all throughout THE BOSS WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS. There was never a time when I was not fully immersed in the lives of the romantic couple, as they come across as so adorable. Growing up in Reindeer Falls, Michigan led to Holly Winter wanting to work at the toy store located there. She did manage to get a job with the company, but the older boss recently retired and his nephew took over, and she does not like Nick Saint-Croix nearly as well. But Holly loves what she does and even has a special project to complete, so quitting is not an option. When she and Nick must travel to Germany in order to make her assignment more successful, several surprises are in store for them both. There were so many engrossing situations in THE BOSS WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS. I laughed at the more comical incidents, where comments or thoughts were hilariously depicted, while the more serious moments were emotionally affecting and left me hoping for the best. She thinks Nick keeps his feelings under control and never lets anyone see what he is actually thinking, which makes it difficult to communicate with him. But that has not stopped her from imagining several scenarios where the two of them are much closer than a boss and employee should be. I liked the build-up in the story as to what would ultimately take place when these two were alone in a foreign country, and I was not disappointed in how they reacted. Settings are vividly described, and anything related to Christmas is also delightfully portrayed. There is a good set-up for the next book in the series, and I am eager to see what happens to Holly’s sister. Rating – 4.5 Stars Review: Sweet Read! - What a sweet read! Well as sweet as an enemies-to-lovers story can be. ;) The Boss Who Stole Christmas had me in fits of giggles quite often! When we first meet Holly and Nick, they're at the office. Being privy to Holly's thoughts at that first office meeting was fun! It was kinda obvious more was going on than she was admitting to herself but her nicknames for Nick and her descriptions of him had me giggling. And I could see where Holly might think Nick was being hard on her but I also thought she'd misconstrued his intentions. And then he pulls the rug out from under her with a business trip. At Christmas time. Christmas is a pretty big deal in Holly's family. I mean, her name is Holly, her sisters' names are Ginger and Noel, and she lives in Reindeer Falls. There was no avoiding it. But Holly's love of all things Christmas and her craftiness made me smile. We've all met someone like her, right? I found her love for the holiday endearing. So the business trip - to Nuremberg, Germany? Yeah. The business trip was the perfect setup. Christmastime in Nuremberg, the Christmas market...so romantic! It all aided Nick in showing a side of himself to Holly she'd been avoiding. And I liked how Holly discovered her true feelings for Nick. Holly's interactions with his sisters was entertaining. I enjoyed the dynamics between them. It conveyed their close-knit bond as well as giving me more giggles. And you know, sisters can be helpful when you need a kick in the rear or a knock on the head to make you realize something you don't want to admit to yourself. The ending was adorable. Sweet without being saccharine. Overall, The Boss Who Stole Christmas was just what I needed. JAston never disappoints!

Cute Christmas novella...
3.5 stars — This is my first book by this author, and in general I enjoy the way she writes, so I’ll definitely be checking out another. As for this story? It was pretty cute. I’m not huge on enemies to lovers, and especially not these weird ones where the heroine can’t even figure out why she hates the guy. I appreciated that her sister called her on her bull at the end thankfully, and she got to have her big apology moment. I enjoyed all the Christmas aspects to the story, and how into it Holly was. It made me get even more in the holiday spirit. I especially loved the weird details about the toy company and the plans coming in the future. I obviously couldn’t completely connect with Holly, due to all the self-sabotaging going on. And without Nick’s POV, I could only gleam little bits — but he seemed pretty adorable, and I loved the way he was into her and knew her so well. The Christmas market scene and the first kiss were adorable. So yeah, it was a solid novella…lots of cute aspects mixed with some frustrating ones.

Naughty AND Nice
This had me at the Countdown to Dickmas advent calendar. No, that’s a lie - I loved this from the very first page and that didn’t change at all as it when on. Quite possibly the perfect Christmas-themed novella for the modern age, this is filled with plenty of festive humor, so much sweetness, a little spice, and one Grinch who is reformed just in time for Christmas. It’s light, quick, really funny, and will definitely get you in the Christmas spirit. The story follows Holly, a woman who works for a toy company in a town that embraces the Christmas spirit. She loves everything about the holiday, and is upset that her new boss doesn’t seem like the right fit for a company that caters to children. He’s demanding, intense, and she hates that she’s so attracted to him. When Nick decides that they’re going to take a business trip together just before the holidays, Holly is horrified by the prospect of spending more time with Nick outside of the office. It changes the dynamic of their relationship immediately and Holly can’t help but wonder if Nick really is a Grinch after all. I absolutely loved this novella. The writing is fantastic - it reads quickly and flows perfectly. I was absorbed from the first page, and humor plays as much a role in the story as the romance does. It’s sweet with plenty of spice, and is just a great, feel-good read. We meet Holly’s sisters in this one, and now I’m definitely going to have to check out the other two books in the series - I have no doubt they’ll be just as good.

Holly Winter loves Christmas, her hometown of Reindeer Falls, and her dream job at Flying Reindeer Toy Company. What she doesn’t love is her new boss, Nick Saint-Croix, the Grinch of Reindeer Falls. She has no idea why Nick took over the toy company after his uncle retired; the man has “big city” written all over him. But perhaps there is more to Nick than Holly sees… The Boss Who Stole Christmas is capital “A” Adorable. It’s bright, cheerful, sexy, and just plain fun to read. I adored Jana Aston’s world of Reindeer Falls and cannot wait to see more of it. Poor Nick. He’s pretty much the perfect hero and Holly’s assumptions about him have to hurt. Nick is far more caring, considerate, and kind than Holly gives him credit for and it’s clear from the start he and Holly are a perfect match in every way. On the one hand, if Holly hadn’t been convinced Nick was a Grinch then there would be no story. On the other, her image of him didn’t have much of a basis so I wanted to shake her a few times and it kept this story from being a solid five star read. In any other story Holly’s dogged determination to cast Nick in a bad light might have soured me and made me want to yell at Nick that he deserved more. But aside from her bias against Nick, Holly was a charming and fun heroine. She’s bright and full of passion and great ideas for the Flying Reindeer Toy Company. Her bright-eyed love of Christmas made me smile and Ms. Aston makes this story so bright and charming that I was willing to go along and wait for Holly to see the real Nick. I loved watching her come to see the man beneath the suit – and what a deliciously sexy man he was. The Boss Who Stole Christmas is supremely sweet with a kick of spice. It’s never cloying but genuinely warm-hearted in its holiday cheer. I can’t wait to read more about Reindeer Falls and I really liked Holly’s sister Ginger, so I’m eager to dive into her story, If You Give a Jerk a Gingerbread.

A fun, flirty and fabulous Christmas rom com!
I am a huge fan of Jana Aston and just love her writing style and sense of humor, getting into the heads of what the characters are thinking, and laughing out loud with how relatable they are. Holly and Nick are the hero and heroine in this holiday tale set in Reindeer Falls, a town head over heels for Christmas. I loved all of the descriptions and wish it were a place I could visit in real life. It sounds magical. Nick is the boss of a toy company who is gifted the position after his uncle retirees. He’s young and handsome, smart and broody, and has had eyes for Holly since the moment he met her. An unexpected business trip to Germany forces them alone and this is where she sees that there is more to Nick than his scowl. I loved that Holly was not his secretary, not that there is anything wrong with that, but she is a smart business professional with a bubbly, positive personality and is not afraid to be herself. Her marketing ideas are brilliant and since I do PR in my real life, I especially enjoyed when they both spoke of launching a new business and restaurant within their company. I loved how she could admit she was wrong, and what a wonderful man Nick turned out to be. If you love a gruff alpha, then you will love Nick! This book was so fun to read and I especially enjoyed getting to know Holly’s two sisters, Ginger and Noel, who are featured in the next two books in this series! Even thought this book is offered in kindle unlimited, I purchased it so I can re-read every Christmas! Well done Jana!

Sexy, romantic Christmas novella
Loved this sexy, romantic novella by Jana Aston. It was cute and well-written with lots of humor and glimpses of family sibling rivalry. The story takes place in Reindeer Falls and revolves around Holly Winters love if all things Christmas. Nick is the owner of the toy company that Holly works for. She refers to him as the Grinch and is very nervous when he’s around. This is their story—short, sweet and with a happy ending. I read the book in one sitting and then pre-ordered the next two books in the Reindeer Falks series. I have read and enjoyed all of Jana Aston’s books. Love the wit, especially the snark between the H and h.

Cute "naughty holiday" novella
What a cute, sexy and quick holiday read! Jana Aston can write rom-com like no one's business and boy did she put me in the Christmas mood! "Where is your season spirit? Is there no room at the Vagina Inn for Nick?" Holly and Nick work together, but when the boss acts like a Grinch while looking like a hot AF boss in a suit, what is one to do?? Holly is funny and punny and all about Christmas. Just like her mama. She will have you laughing and feeling all sorts of good. And Nick is a surprise. He's taken over his uncle's job and though he make act like a grinch, there just may be reason for it. The Boss Who Stole is Christmas is light, funny and sexy. It's like a naughty Hallmark movie that you wish they would have. You definitely don't need to wait until the end for our love interests to kiss. Oh no. We get some naughty stuff in the most unbelievable places. I can't wait for each of these 3 novellas coming out within a couple weeks of one another all set in Reindeer Falls. You guys are not going to want to miss it. Heroines with very 'festive' names and the men who capture their hearts. These short reads are going to put a smile on all our faces.

Such a lovable Grinch
I actually liked Nick, though he is the boss. He is deliberate, poised, caring. And he is mindful of what Holly might be feeling when he suggests that she can go to the HR if she is uncomfortable. He never pushes her to accept their relationship and gives her the space. The three sisters are so cute! I love them. Holly is so real too. Just the kind of an everyday girl. And I loved the humor, style, and pace of the story. No unnecessary prolonged periods of heartbreak or drama. And loved the minimalist style of Nick. Sweet.

Delightful!
This is the sweetest and a little bit naughty Christmas story I have read so far. The storytelling is amazing and made me fall in love with each character. I adored the humor in many passages especially the naughty word games. It made me laugh a couple of times. This story is worth reading for everybody, who enjoys erotic stories with a good storyline.

Cute, sweet and a little bit salty
This author gets it right. Short, sweet but didn’t feel so. Had me often grinning and even a laugh out loud (that had my husband looking at me strangely). Very enjoyable. Looking forward to the next one. Great for a Christmas vacation read. . . For the Christmas obsessed.

Naughty list
I’m sick and I’m reading this at 4am. I love it!! Holly works at a toy store and loves all things Christmas. She’s got a great family, great home and a great job. Not such a great boss. Nick is a perfectionist and a bit of a grinch. In her opinion. After all who doesn’t want to eat reindeer cupcakes in the middle of July? (In her defence there was a good reason) Alas, since his first day at work, when he made fun of the cupcakes, they both believe the other hates them. Nicky constantly challenges her and puts her on edge and all she wants for Christmas is a different boss. One who won’t force her on trips to Germany, potentially breaking the heart of her fictional boyfriend. When they arrive however her mr grinch transforms into a kind, funny and sexy man who likes to feel her up in a church and Holly doesn’t know what to do about it. I really enjoyed this. I get what other reviewers have said about wanting Holly to open her eyes and see him. I understood why she freaked out but Nick made it so clear he wanted her and for a really long time. I wish we could have had a nick POV. I would have loved to experience his feelings of frustration and desire for Holly. Because it’s all from her perspective you understand why she’s taken aback by his sudden change and why she might doubt what happened because come on nick asking a girl to say she likes you is not the same as explaining to a woman who is freaking out over sleeping with her boss that you like her and want her. I did like how it wrapped up but I would have liked more. It is a series so hopefully we will see them in the future but I would have loved a longer scene of them two together. Also they drop the f bomb quite a bit. I too love the word but when you’ve got a character who tells herself to be brave like Rudolph it kind of had me blinking I surprise.
