Needs a little work for a Weaver Rail
Like some of the other reviews, You may or may not be able to put these on a Weaver rail, as received. One clamped down OK, the other, too tight. I fixed this by carefully sanding down the cam curves on the lever. I used 220 grit wet/dry sandpaper (dry) on a flat wood surface. With the lever in the unlocked position, push the mount onto the sandpaper and slowly sand down the higher (taller) area of both cam edges, using a rocking motion to follow the curve. Do this a little at a time than retry to lock onto the rail. Take note of what section of the cam stops you from getting the lever into the full lock position. Keep going, a little at a time until you get a lock. I sanded just a little more to get a position where I used the adjustment screw a little to tighten to desired clamp force. Also sanded a little on the one that did clamp at first, to insure I could adjust with the adjusting screw. Yes this does remove the black powder coating, but you won't see the shiny area with the clamps in the lock position. Now they are an excellent set of quick release scope mounts for my Weaver rail. I have already ordered another set.

They are good. For budget build of 22 for kids worked ...
For the price. They are good. For budget build of 22 for kids worked just fine. I own better, but these were just what I wanted for propose build on a light price line. I bought a set of discount scratch and dents that only had a cosmetic flaws and still work good. These were bought more for the look alike apeal than porpose of quick change. Still like UTG stuff they are budget parts for everyday folks. Yes I still will buy UTG products for these types of builds. A plinker for the youngsters that looks just like the big boys toys. Without the wallet dent. Not as refind as some, but I new what I was getting it for and thats, that. UTG is one of best for such a porpose build, lots of choices, lots of options.

Excellent quality at a reasonable price...
These QD rings are well made and offer an exceptional value for the price. The spring loaded lever locks give a positive tactile sensation when they engage fully and the lock-up is rock solid. The finish is a bit weak, powder coated would be more durable but for the price these would be hard to beat. I mounted these on my FN SCAR 17 and topped the package with a Leupold Mark 6 Tactical. With these rings I can rapidly switch over to an ATN scope for night use and will be confident that the Leupold will still be zeroed when I remount it. I highly recommend these rings.Note: For those not familiar with the difference between Picatinny and Weaver rails... These rings will NOT attached properly to a Weaver rail due to a difference in slot design and size between the Weaver and Picatinny rail systems.

Good for what you paid for as long as you install them correctly
ok , so first and foremost.... these are not $150 larue mount ... moving on ... this is my second set , they sit nice and low and when installed and adjusted properly , they do a pretty darn good job ... i run this for day optic and swap out at night to NV. i killed a buck from 275 yards by dialing up 2 mils on my scope .. 300 blackout ! Bam ! deer on the ground ... and that's on a scope that has been taken on and off dozens of times ... However , to achieve this , you have to do two things : 1 mount the ring on the rail , without locking it yet , push forward , then lock it down , use the allen wrench , loosen the lever tighten up the screw until the lever won't lock any more , back it out a tad until it locks tight .. repeat for rear ring ... once done , remove your top screws and install scope .... this will allow both rings to set as far forward on the base , which is the direction of movement during recoil (weight of the scope ,inertia would move scope forward during recoil ) . having a tight fitting lock is the second part of this equation ... as long as you mark which slot you put them in an do that consistently , they hold perfect zero. for $23 can't beat them!

Not a good fit for a 10 22 rail!
I have this mount on my AR and like it. However, you really can't close this mount tight enough to fully secure a scope on a Ruger 10 22. The rail of the Ruger is a little different than a standard Picatinny rail which allows a slight amount of movement when the QD is fully closed. I had to switch to a mount that I could really torque down on the clamp. It is not a QD mount but the scope won't wobble now. Also the set screws of the QD mount are not that great. I replaced mine before they rounded out and I had to use a drill to get them out. Not a real deal breaker but rates three rather than four stars.

UTG Max Strength Quick Detach Low Scope Rings
These rings look well made but as others have commented, they do not want to clamp onto certain rails. Such was the case with my Weaver Multi-Slot 10/22 rail. I adjusted the adjusting screw all the way out and it still did not want to lock. Being I was not going to take NO for an answer I applied brutish force and achieved the desired result. After working the lock about 10 times the situation is now under control and works much easier. It does not appear to be bending so will see how it works in the future. It's funny because the taller UTG mounts work just fine on this rail.

GREAT for the GRADE
The metal= amazingThe plastic levers= eh close enoughOne quick insight though for new buyers I definitely recommend these rings as a mounting product But here's a tip when mounting to your rails. be careful to get both side of the rail because (at least for me) one side would catch and the other would be half on half off (one ring would clip onto the rail just fine and the other would be quite honestly a pain in the a) and i had the lever maxed out open to clear the other side. It took some fen-agling (lol) but i got it on the rails and to secure with up most tightness once you have your scope mounted and set up and what not. TIP#2 Take both screws out of the plastic levers spin to tighten and replace both screws. Now this will defeat the ENTIRE PURPOSE of the "quick detach" portion since tightening both screws will not allow the lever to open thus not allowing it to be removed off the rails. BUT! who on god's earth would want to remove a scope off of a bigger caliber gun when you just spent an hour setting it back up and bore-scoping it. TA-DA Over all AMAZING for the price. Super tight rings even with a 30-06 with a wicked recoil.

Great Low Profile Mounts
What can I say UTG makes great gear at great prices for the quality. To match UTG's quality in my opinion you would have to spend much more of your hard earned money. The mounts work exactly as described, I bought these low profile mounts for my .303 Lee Enfield SMLE rifle that I added the scope mount to so I needed the low profile scope rings to keep the scope close to barrel. I also have a set on a Savage .270 build that are the 6 screw LE grade on it and they hold rock solid also. But I could not find the 6 screw in low profile for the old .303 but I'm sure the 4 screw will hold just fine save your dough and buy UTG products. Just my humble opinion ya all. Thanks

Bon produit
Parfait pour ma lunette de 50mm de diamètre (sur une Ruger American Target). A voir si le système de blocage sur Picatinny reste bien en place.

No problem
So far so good, for a part-time plinker

Works for me !
Good Quality. The low profile is great for the rail on my "Mini-14, it is probably not suitable, ( too low) for an "AR-15. With the higher rail on my Mini, I can look under it, & use my iron sights for C.Q.combat.
