Home Theater amplifier channel not working…
The left front channel of my 25 year old Outlaw Audio home theater power amp was not working. Figured it was time for a new one so I spent $1500 on a replacement, but held on to the old one. A few weeks later I got curious and popped the lid off the old amp and saw the fuse on the LF channel was blown so, taking a chance, I ordered fuses. There was also 25 years worth of dust so I cleaned out the chassis. When my order arrived I replaced the blown fuse and powered up the amp. I flipped the power switch on and off to see if I could trigger a short and the fuse wouldn’t blow. Thinking I could saved $1500 had I done this before, I was glad I upgraded my old amp but could still use it and now had enough channels to bi-amp my speakers.

It was a perfect replacement for the fuse in the radio. In my older model RV trailer. 8A in this size was hard to come by in any of the automotive stores I visited so this worked a treat!
