Five Stars
I have several Global knives and this one is fantastic. Great quality and love the handle shape.

To Clarify....
Daniel Michaels, just a little tip from a professional chef, high-end knives like these are made for right handlers and left handed knives are usually specifically made (and more expensive) because they not as in demand. I believe Global, Mashahiro and other high-end knife companies have left-handed options. Doesn’t mean it isn’t a good if not great knife.

Gorgeous and super sharp santoku!!
I only buy Global knives... coming from the Global Classic line....7 inch Hollow Edge Asian Chef knife, this Sai santoku is roughly 3 ounces heavier which if you’re not expecting might be a little alarming considering Global is known for lightweight nimble knives... not heavy by any means... it’s perfectly balanced... just a different approach with the Sai line.... overall though a beautiful, extremely sharp Santoku that will surely last a lifetime.

Not made for left-handers
The handle is ergonomically designed for right-hands only. Feels terrible, especially considering how expensive it is, for a lefty. Sad.
