Excellent book.. we bought about 7-8 of these books for kids who are beginners in learning Amharic. The teacher and the students love it. The visual is very good. I am trying to get more the books listed in the back. Are they available to buy?Hoping the author, Aida, will see this so I can get her contact info:).

Need Amharic background to read
My husband speaks Amharic, and he enjoyed its simplicity. I like the layout. Very simple book however, as a non-Amharic speaker, I wish it have the pronunciations added, so that I could sound out the words with my daughter, since I'm still learning too.

Perfect book for learning Amharic alphabet

Not worth the money
Item was not what I expected in an abc Amharic dictionary. I’m extremely unsatisfied. I wish I could return it.

Good Amharic book for little kids.
My kids love this book. I wish it had more words and pictures to go with the alphabets. That’s why I gave 4 stars.

Needs improvements!! Unless one from the family should know Amharic well. If not its difficult!!!
In my belief it’s nice if the name of picture indicated starts with first letter of Amharic alphabetics like :First letter Ha ..Le..Haa.... Me...for Ha ~ Some words starting with “Ha” like -“Habil” NOT not words like -Zihon (( Elephant)) look the cover picture of the book, also for Le- not Lomi ( lemon ).Then kids learn easily !!!
