I have been researching Islamic law and history, with special attention to the place on non-Muslims in Islamic law and societies, for over 12 years. This book hits the nail on the head. With an avalanche of evidence from a profusion of solid and credible sources, Bostom documents the intolerant and imperialistic aspects of the Islamic tradition. He especially proves the intense, theologically-based hostility towards Jews that is built into the Islamic tradition, beginning with Muhammad. The Twelver Shiites of Persia (Iran) have been especially hateful towards Jews for centuries, as Bostom documents. The multiple eyewitness accounts of how Jews have been persecuted in Persia for centuries are worthy of special note by the reader. Western discussions of Iranian nuclear policy have by and large not taken the worldview and ideology of Iran's leadership seriously (as historian Jeffrey Herf has recently noted). Politically correct policymakers of the sort who dominate the Obama administration are blind to the dark side of Islam and are overestimating the rationality of the Iranian regime, as are mainstream American academics in political science and international relations departments. If Israel is obliterated by an Iranian bomb, future generations will look back at the evidence foretelling such an attack and shake their heads in disgusted amazement at the willful blindness of our political, journalistic, and academic elites.

Consider this fact: in 2014 the Jewish population in the State of Israel is almost exactly Six Million! And given past history any Jew...no, Any Human being who does not see the Bloody writing on the wall is either an ignoramus or as malignantly Vile and Evil as those poised to perpetrate a Nuclear Holocaust. Iran must be stopped from ever having nuclear capability. Outside of that One Certainty there's nothing even close to being so greatly Feared. Read This Book!

Its hard for me to describe what I found most interesting in Dr. Bostom's book. It is not hard to head but is hard on facts, demanding the source and origin of this terrible problem. I've read all his other works and find him passionate/dispassionate. By this I mean is I think he suffers with and for his people and Christians. He is dispassionate dissecting the moslem camouflage of words wrapped in violence. To date no moslem or dhimmi like Armstrong and John Espposito has answered Dr. Bostom's analysis of mohammad's dream of a god named allah. That is proof enough of the veracity of his and this work

A dire, intriguing, terrifying and entirely believable account of what, hopefully not inevitably but almost surely, lies ahead. An understanding of everything herein is essential for a proper judgement about who must do what in the very near future.

Poorly organized, verbose, and repetitive. Mind-numbing statistics and a large number of lengthy quotations litter this work. There is little evidence of editorial guidance. This book reads like a bad doctoral dissertation.

It is probably wonderful but was very deep and involved so I just skimmed it. Much great information.

A very revealing and frightening work of a very dangerous country which flouts the world. Iran does not only threaten Israel but also the world order. In this instance it is more dangerous than North Korea because of its slanted viscous and extreme view of Islam.
