perfect fit - HOWEVER
Ok, my fault eh.. more like my mechanic's fault. 1. Quick disconnect my ...... 2. Have extra Transmission line connectors. 3. WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE!! 3a. NOTHING to do with the product, shipper or anything. 3b. I should have checked the drain plug for the tranny and transfer case before buying.. my mechanic whom I have been going to for YEARS ... sub story... I had the dealership change my transm fluid and transfer case fluid.. I got it home and it was leaking.. I took it back and was like what the heck (other words) and they put it on the lift.. oh, its your trans lines.. you need new.. I was ok, how much.. oh.. 450 bucks.. I am uhh.. no, i can do it.. now, chicago was VERY cold so last weekend was the first time I was able to find time to get under my Cherokee XJ to try and start (my brother-in-law is aces with cars.. so .. i was helping him lol). We disconnected everything in front easily (did the radiator few months ago) and started to look into the line going to the tranny. Yadda yadda.. Ok, we need tranny connectors because the quick disconnects were not disconnecting AND the lines wer F-ING Dry!!! I am like WTF... JEEP.. trying to jerk me off for 450 bucks.. so, I tightened the drain plugs on the tranny and transfer case, wiped EVERYTHING down.. never know. I turned the tranny plug about a solid half turn (hard turn) and the transfer case plug about a 1/3 of a turn (VRY hard). Again, wiped everything down, ordered from amazon the dorman parts tranny line connector, they arrived vry quickly... Since tightening the drain plugs my Jeep has NOT leaked..not an drop.. nothing... nadda... I am still going to replace the parts (why not, already have them). However, everyone reading.. if you mech says oh.. you need tranny lines for XX dollars.. get someone to crawl under your vehicle. check everything out B4 doing it. I honestly cannot believe they tried to screw me out of 450 bucks and I have been going to this dealership for years. they know I am not some BF idiot.. I investigate, bring my own parts ect ect... 1. awesome seller... 2. decent price 3. packaging so so.. 4. double check everything on your vehicle b4 taking apart 5. order, even if you dont use it (Jeep XJ 2001) the Tranny Line Connector(s) - quick disconnect -- yeh right.. 6. check your drain plugs.. do they need to be tightened.. BUT not too much.. u dont want to strip. 7. make have some extra tranny fluid 8.. drain pan.. something will come out. 9. eye protection 10. Great time to do an underbody examination and wipe down.. check for seat pan rusting, muffler issues, catalyticissues ect ect

Excellent.
Great product. Contours molded perfectly to engine compartment. Save your old quick connectors, the product doesnโt come with new ones. Mine were in great shape so I just pulled them off the old line and clipped them on.

Fits like OEM
Easy to install once you get the old one out. This product doesn't come with the plastic retaining clips for the transmission end of the line so be sure to get them from the parts store before you get started. You will also need a special tool to remove the old lines from the vehicle

Quality line, bad shipping standards
Quality of cooler line looked to be good prior to shipping but shipped in plastic bag vs box and was crushed and completely bent out of shape during transportation. 5 stars for item, zero for packaging/shipping averages 3 stars. Returned and purchased same item/brand at Auto Zone for same price.

Not properly bent tube
Replaced transmission lines for a new 1999 XJ. The lines wet not even remotely bent properly resulting in have to put the proper bends in myself. I expected better from Dorman.
