why do you charge $50 shipping for an 8oz. or 10oz. bag of organic frozen fruit?

Thank you for the inquiry. The shipping charge is a Flat Rate, so you can add as much product to the order as you wish and the shipping charge stays the same. We have to ship these perishable items 2 Day Air ($34.00 minimum charge from UPS for our smallest cooler) and we have over $15.00 in shipping materials (cooler, cooler bag, cooler box and dry ice), so we are at $49.00 before we even add the product cost. Small orders do not work well for perishable goods for this reason and we really discourage small orders, since the only ones making money is Amazon and UPS. Larger orders decrease the shipping cost per item so we can all come out in a better position. I hope this helps, we are required to make sure all perishable items come to you in a safe manner. Thanks for the opportunity.

How many bags in the order? Also are they 8 or 10 oz? Bag says 8, your description says 10.

Katy, thanks for the inquiry. The bags are 8 oz., found the mistake in the description and have corrected it, thanks for catching that. 1 bag per order, so with the Flat Rate Shipping option, best to order multiple bags or other items, since the shipping charge will remain the same no matter how much you order. Thanks for the opportunity. Alan 307 899 2480.
