Works and looks good
Just as described looks good when set up,I added this as I wanted a card reader but thought for the extra mony I could add the extra features. I do not think I will be using the fan controller to reduce the fan speeds as they were already running at the correct speed to keep my system at the correct speed. If you do not need the extras such as USB ports ect I would just buy a card reader. Also make sure your mother board has enough connection to plug this in, I had to do a few mods and add a few extras to plug all leads in as most mother boards today do not have a second USB connection or USB 2 connection

good product, quite underrated in my opinion
4 channel digital display fan controller is actually quite good, has a couple flaws such as it beaing a tad too small so it leaves a gap at the top of my 5.25 bays, not really a problem though. The other thing is it should be able to switch between farenheit and celcius, i can read both but some people cant, just having farenheit is a turn off for alot of people. Other than that though it feels a bit cheap but that doesnt take away from funtion, does what it says on the tin. controls my fans from high to low with no power issues (unlike thermaltake commander ft). Another great feature is you can turn the fans off all together which i dont see on other products, i actully have my first 3 channels set to intake fans and the fourth hooked up to another fan on my desk for the hot days (my exhaust is 2 fans running through my cpu aio cooler). Its more than simple to use as its not touch screen, only 4 dials

I only really bought this for the clock. It's all I wanted out of it. PROS: Reasonable price when I purchased it, and I don't know where there is a comparable product (for the clock feature.) I like the colours. I'm only controlling two fans, so this suits my needs, and it works. CONS: Unless there's some sort of firmware available, then I don't know how it will display the correct date after December 31, 2019. That's the caveat. Note also, that the clock is independent of the system. It has nothing to do with the operating system clock or the CMOS of the system. When your system is shut down or suspended, the time and date will be unavailable. The display is not the best. It can't be read from extreme viewing angles. At a 90-degree angle, the screen appears to be purple, but as the angle decreases, the backlight is black. It's not intuitive for configuration, but the user guide is sufficient. Keep one nearby. I installed this in May and it's not saving settings in mid-October. I'm not sure if this coincides with my recent implementation of putting the system to sleep instead of continuous use. It may just be that the included battery is past its lifespan. I highly recommend installing a brand new 3-volt (2032) battery before initial use.

I bought the FPX-006 to quite the fans in my computer and it does just that while retaining the ability to kick up the voltage whenever needed. The sliders feel smooth and well made and this is a trend that continues onto the front metal face which feels solidly built. The input power takes Molex and SATA (I'm using SATA) and the fan connectors are long enough to be practical. The connectors are modular and some pre-connected to the unit but they unfortunately seem to use some non-standard plug on the PCB end. The other end of the cable is a standard 3 pin connector that's wide enough for a 4 pin, which is a plus. The screw holes lined up well but not perfectly. However, I'm not sure if it may be a defect of my case or the FPX-006. Either way it wasn't really an issue as it still screwed in fine. The LEDs are rather bright but can actually be dimmed and even turned off. What's odd is that Kingwin never mentions this in the manuals. The controller comes with small jumper blocks that can be used on 2 sets of fins on board the controller. With these you can set it to half brightness and off. Normally, having the sliders below 50% sets the light to white and above the light goes blue. It's a nice touch and even better that you can turn them off. I wish that it was a little easier to do and that it was actually mentioned somewhere in the documentation though. I only figured it out after wondering what the jumper blocks were for and examining the PCB closely. In general, does what it says on the packaging, well built, and worth the money.
