Excellent for bushcraft
It's a great knife, scales aren't proud or shy of the tang, same story with the pins, square edges on the spine to strike a ferro rod or scrape tinder, they nailed the heat treat, while it is 14c28n and doesn't hold an edge for a super long time, it holds it as long as any knife of this steel ive used, it's extremely tough and very easy to sharpen in the field, handles comfortable in about any grip in my fairly large hand, with plenty of room for a larger hand, it's not a heavy knife, so its not a chopper, but the steel does accommodate to being batoned if you have no other options, I like the finish on the micarta for a linen type micarta, while kind of a smoother finish it does offer plenty of grip bc of the shape of the handle, and obviously it gets grip-ier when wet as micarta usually does...the sheath is well made it seems, but only offers for a vertical belt carry, I did make a frog for mine to horizontal carry it...this is my second ember and I've only owned it for a week or so, while most of my experience, less one overnight outing, is with the scandi grind version, it's just as well made and the heat treat is just as good, for the money, I strongly suggest it, and is a great alternative to the morakniv garberg, that is also a fantastic knife, I just wasn't a huge fan of the handle material...I will definitely be buying more knives joker...also seller was on time with no delays

great knife
out of the box it was razor sharp! and after a lot of use, just take some stopes work and it become razor sharp again! the 14c28n is well tempered! hold an edge for long time, doesn't chip and doesn't roll. thumbs up! the built quality surpass, not all, but a lot of knives that cost a lot more! the sheath is well made, big drain hole, great stiches, great quality leather. In flat grind is a great meal prepper, use it for preparing firewood, preparing food, really versatile! I can easly say that this knife is part of my kit almost all the time I goes in the wood.

An excellent bush knife!
I originally purchased this as an inexpensive backup knife for some survival kits our family our together. It has ended up spending less time packed than it has in the kits. The knife has a good sized handle which feels very stable. The smooth handle is very comfortable to work with regardless of the job you are trying to accomplish. Definitely worth the purchase, it has become my favorite bushcraft knife.

Great value for the money...
I don't care for the triangular finger guard. Nonetheless, fit and finish are excellent. It's comfortable in the hand and has a very useful blade shape.

Awesome knife
Over the years I've owned several knives, I'm 62. This joker bushcraft knife is one of the finest that I've ever owned. From the packaging right down to the beautiful leather sheath. Over the years I've taken many deer and processed them myself and I know this is a high quality knife. With all the knives online, this one caught my attention. You get a leather sheath that is finely stitched, and yes this is leather. The knife itself fits like a glove in the sheath. There is a link between the sheath and the portion the belt goes through, so if you sit down it's not rigid to your side. Now that's something I like, you also get a magnesium stick with the igniter along with some paracord. I may sound like a salesman, but the Spaniards don't skimp on quality. For the price you can't beat it.

Beautiful Spanish sheath knife
One of my favorite knives. I own several Joker knives and they are all of superb quality and finish. This one has a gorgeous olive wood handle. The sheath is made from top quality cow hide leather. You can't beat these Spanish knives. I will keep mine for ever

Disappointed
Joker knives puts out some great knife model and I was excited to try them out. The knives seem like a good value for the money with raving reviews. However, I have to question the durability of their products, especially when the knives leave the factory with defects in fit and finish. This is the 2nd survival knife I purchased off Amazon within a week. Same model. The 1st had issues with the micarta grip witch was not completely attached to the tang. I figured it was a fluke and returned it. It happens with mass production. Today I got the replacement. Opened up the package, and what do you know: Same issue. So not a fluke. Consistent gap between micarta and tang. On a knife with non removable grips. The knife design and execution are great, but issues like this end up in handle separation eventually, in my experience. So can’t keep it and use it as a ‘survival’ knife. I baton wood up to 3” diameter for kindling when I built a fire. Not sure how this gap gonna take that and ask for more. Forget about using it in freezing temperatures, especially if water finds its way in the gap, like water does. So this was my short lived adventure with this brand/model.

This is a beautiful knife. The only issue is the secondary bevel is visibly uneven, other than that minor issue it is perfect. Great feel in the hand. The leather sheath is also beautiful with good retention although I'm not sure how the retention will be after some use. Transport to Australia was only 6 days, well done FedEx.
