Q: A friend says the food is hard to put on the rotisserie. The rotisserie rod is hard to place in the oven and does not turn well with any weight. Yes?

It is not hard to put the food in the rotisserie. However, you have to try to balance the weight on the rod, so it does not tumble. More difficult with chicken.

Q: Does the heat affect a granite counter top?

I do not have a granite countertop but my niece does and it does not seem to impact her countertop

Yes the 360 has a sound or buzzer when the device reaches the required temperature. Once that occurs the 360 starts to countdown as it cooks your meal.
