Home taste food for single guy. Really flavorful without making one fat. Diabetic helper sizing.
Well liked recipe. Cheese, tomato I think, elbows, meat. Hit the hunger with good smells, flavor, and meat protein. I'd buy again. Price seemed a gift on Amazon. Packaging is cool for kids, busy homes, or camps. Awesome. A dream feature for good times and places, maybe for more, would be organic (sorry), or, low sodium (dream?), and less GMO (no frankenfood) but we understand reality. Been eating American fare and preservatives entire life and okay thank God. Your service is impeccable on all fronts. What a company and servant heart. A single guys home taste food.

great taste
Excellent product. Hormel makes the best chili in my opinion. Very easy to use. Very good taste. Fresh. Good quantity. Will continue buying these.

Quick light meal offering significant protein with only 280 calories
I like the Compleats chili meal a lot. It has 17 grams of protein, only 280 calories and only takes a minute to cook in the microwave. That makes it perfect for a quick, go-to light lunch or healthy snack.

Needs some work on the recipe guys.
To start with I didn't like that the expire date is 9 months away, that could just be me and my proclivity. Next is this is sweet and I don't recall eating any chili beans that were sweet ever. I give Hormel points for using some red kidney beans and not just all pinto beans like every other chili on the market does. I just couldn't get past the flavor, not that it was off, just like the sauce part was meant for more than just this chili like it was a base sauce and either the final mix to make it the chili sauce was not correct or I just don't like it. It kept reminding me of something else, maybe a gravy for some type of beef dish. Also, where's the chili in this chili? Just none, not even mildly so. I'd urge Hormel to keep trying though, some chili powder, not so sweet, more kidney beans. I do like this whole microwave without the meal being a frozen meal plus storable idea and for what it's worth I did/do like the spaghetti which I'm eating instead of the chili right now. Out of salad mix and dressing though, it helps to eat these meals with something else on the side if possible, just to round it out, leave you feeling full.

Nope.
It reminds me of off brand chef boyrdee. I’ve had every one of meal and aside from the stroganoff, this is the worst I’ve had. It sounded like beefy Mac and cheese when I saw the tiny picture on the bottom of another item. Figured since it’s the only one I haven’t tried, now’s as good a time as any. Wrong.I’ll stick with the ones I like and stop experimenting on Amazon with all the weird stuff I try (I LOVE trying new foods from foreign countries). Since I can’t travel to them, I try to travel by culinary (and some very NOT culinary).
