The best for phone use
The best to use on my phone working. Clear and crispy sound. Good price

Great
We've ordered a lot of these over the past couple of years as we phase out some very expensive wireless headsets that we had purchased previously. Those ended up not lasting nearly as long as they should have considering the price tag. With these though, the price is cost effective and it isn't a huge deal if it were to stop working in a year or two (which hasn't happened yet.)We aren't a call center, but we do have projects where our team members need to be on the phone for extended periods of time here and there so it's much easier to multitask, and easier on the neck, if you have a hands free headset. Our phones that we use these with are various brands of SIP phones, and we plug it into the little headset plug on the back or underneath the phone. The unit itself is comfortable, it's adjustable and the ear pieces are cushion-y. They're also easy to clean with a sanitizing wipe if we need to re-allocate this piece of equipment.I haven't had any complaints of sound quality from my coworkers or from anyone on the other end of the call. Overall, I think this is a solid headset for the price. I expect to get a couple of years of use out of them but like I mentioned, we haven't had any stop working yet. I would definitely recommend to any workplace or home office that needs a hands free option and doesn't need the wireless functionality.

Complete & useless crap
While I like the headset, the RJ9 adapter that has the mute button and channel changer is complete crap and garbage. First off after plugging in the adapter it does not sit flat on the desk, and in fact sits upside down pressing down and engaging the mutes button while your on phone calls. Secondly it also engages the dial tone when you least expect it and are on a phone call. While I was in the middle of doing something the adapter apparently decided to take a phone call without my permission, consent or knowledge. The reason I found out about it as I was taking off my headset I heard someone on it. Thirdly the amount of static this adapter makes when first dialing the number is quite annoying and frustrating. While it does go away once the call is connected those first few minutes feels like hours of feedback noise. I personally think and feel that this seller should replace my defective adapter under warranty since I’ve only had it a few days and it’s not my fault that it’s defective. I am also not happy that this headset came with no clip to attach the headset wires to a shirt or tie so that when you get up to stand, stretch or just move around it doesn’t catch or snag on the desk, or drawers which it does. I feel that this adapter’s overall quality is complete crap since the slightest movement of it creates chaos. It’s like the mute button is extremely flimsy and loose as well as the internal parts and components. With regards to the missing shirt clip, with the wires dangling all over the place This can lead to serious damage to the headset wire and/or possible injuries to the individual wearing it from the wire pulling, snagging and choking you. Every other headset I’ve owned had this clip and I believe it should be mandatory to come with. For the record if you remove this adapter from the headset, most of the problems do go away but your losing the mute switch and the channel changer that sometimes is needed because using the internet for calls occasionally requires changing the channel for best clarity and quality. I do not recommend this headset with all the issues and problems I have encountered within three days of receiving it on 12/27/23. I do not recommend this seller since he does not respond to support requests about his defective products. Be guided accordingly when deciding whether or not you plan on purchasing from this seller. You’ve been warned.

4-Pin RJ9 Binaural headset
There are (currently) SEVEN different products under this heading, so if you're reading reviews, try to find ones corresponding to the one you want to buy.I believe all seven products contain the same, binaural headphones. This one comes with an RJ9 plug, which fits some specialized phones, but not your normal, corded desk or wall phone. They have an RJ11 or RJ14 (2-line) jack, which an RJ9 plug will not fit into. However, this product comes with an RJ9 to RJ11 adapter, complete with volume control and a mic mute button. It also has 9 different channels (or something), and you have to fiddle around to find which is the best setting for your phone system. For me, it was setting #2.The sound quality was quite good on my end (i.e., I could hear the calling party well, and with plenty of volume), and I was told they could hear me well, too. Now, the headset. I was disappointed that one of the two ear pieces came crushed. It must have been packed incorrectly in the box. I am hoping over time it will "uncrush", but even as it is, it's usable. Some people have complained that the earpieces are too small so they don't fit over your ears. OF COURSE THEY DON'T. They simply aren't designed to. I wish they were, I prefer that type. But these aren't them, and I could tell that by looking at the photos before I bought this. Unfortunately I couldn't tell that they just don't quite fit "right". After playing around for about 5 minutes, I was able to get them to a point where they are ok. Not the best fit, but they stay on my head no matter how I move. There's hardly no pressure at all on my ears (or head). It's very light and so quite comfortable. They could be better, but (believe me, I know) they could be much, much worse.By the way, I read one review that incorrectly stated they aren't adjustable. They most certainly are. Both ear pieces can be moved down, lengthening the headpiece by a lot. I have a pretty elongated head (so my ears are probably further from the top of my head than most people's), and they are plenty big enough for me. I haven't used these long, but so, for the price, it seems like they are a very good bargain.
