Fantastic, dynamic pedal
While this definitely does the job as advertised - a very effective boost pedal - I've also found that it can be used to bring out some fuller and brighter guitar tone without making the tone too tinny. When I put a little room reverb with it, the tone difference was night and day to the point where I basically leave this pedal on the entire time unless I am doing my ambient stuff...so much so that I've bought another boost pedal to actually boost my tone! Either way - boost or bringing out tone via just a bit of gain - this pedal is awesome and a huge value for the relatively modest price. Highly recommend this.

Booster Pedal Supremus for Cheapus
This booster is the first of its kind I ever bought, and it works great. The controIs for my main acoustic guitar are on the side of the body (not the front of the body), so changing volume on the fly is difficult. I use the pedal at open mics for a boost in volume when I have to jump into a solo.

Smooth overdrive if desired, but it works great as a boost. Not ragged! And the controls offer flexibility to suit your desired effect and TONE.It's well made, feels solid.I do appreciate the small size and weight.

Really nice budget boost pedal.
I really like this boost pedal. I don’t own any other boost pedals, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it seems to do the trick. There are no loud clicks or pops when it is switched on which is my main concern with budget friendly pedals, they can be loud. I think I prefer to use this over my tube screamer. If you set the gain on this pedal to where you are just starting to get some breakup, it will really give the dirty channel on my amp a tighter breakup. Sounds great.

Perfect, Clean Boost. But requires it's own external DC powers
The Good:Boost allows you to give a little kick up in the volume...from inline effects.Place this in-line out for clean boost .Note: This is not a distortion check out some the other flavors of sounds from same manufacture.* Don't forget buy a DC Adapter9 v standard pedal polarity for this.The Bad:Pedal has no space in it for asimple 9 volt battery .No way!Yes Way! .Just a deeper case and a 9 volt would if fit so all these pedals will need dc adapter or 2.5mm plug to battery snapper or rechargable guitar power pack.Works as Stated good for a pedal board set up only but I plan on 9 volt with cable to plug I need battery powered set up other pedals I have all got own 9 volt source.

OK boost pedal
It's a cheap mass produced boost pedal with some tonal functionality. It does what it is supposed to which is a good thing. I have more expensive boost pedals that only boost with no tone function which are excellent but a lot more expensive so unless you must have boutique this pedal are plenty like it are good enough. They are Chinese made so it is all about how long they last.
