Safety Glasses, Solus 2000, IR Shade 5.0 Gray Lens, Black/Green Temples | Anti-Scratch, Pack of 1

This is a great set of safety glasses that I use for plasma cutting. I read I needed the 5.0 lens and you can't go wrong with a 3M product. I feel they are comfortable and sturdy. The price isn't bad considering its a name brand product that works well. I would buy them again. I think i have an average sized head and they fit very well.

Extremely dark, not used to wearing glasses this style either. They really cover every part of your vision, so they are nice that way, probably excellent safety glasses. Purchased for the IR blocking capabilities, these should perform the same as any of the expensive personal privacy glasses out there. Remember, the AI cameras can see through your regular sunglasses!

I ordered these 3M Solus 2000 Series safety glasses specifically to use while working with a plasma cutter, and they work perfectly. The IR Shade 5.0 gray lens provides great protection from the bright arc without being overly dark, so I can still clearly see my cut lines and material. They’re lightweight, comfortable to wear for extended periods, and the anti-scratch coating has held up well in a shop environment. The fit is secure without squeezing, and the black/green temples look sharp and professional. If you’re doing plasma cutting, welding prep, or other bright shop work and want reliable eye protection from a trusted brand, these are an excellent choice. Highly recommend.

I love these for general wear around glasses. Super dark, inexpensive, readily available. Function > form. I have sensitive eyes, and finding something dark enough that I can wear around outside was a struggle. The adjust ability is pretty nice. Thought it was a gimmick until I wore it with a helmet. They also do a damn good job of staying on my face - never had them pop off or get loose. They're also impact rated, which is a plus for me since I wear them cycling. Never know what can get kicked up in my face. Would have been a 5/5 except that both lenses + nose bridge are a single molded piece. The nose bridge on mine has cracked in 2 spots and has a chunk missing. I feel like if the lenses were individual, and the nosebridge was part of the frame and a more flexible material, this could be alleviated. I'm still quite happy with them though

They work great. They still fog up a little in the morning when it’s cool and climbs up to 80 degrees, but it dissipates quickly. The adjustment for the frame gets a little annoying once in a while too.
