WiFi Wireless Display Dongle, DIWUER 5G/ 2.4G WiFi HDMI Receiver, Screen Mirroring Adapter For Android/iPhone/iPad/Windows/Miracast/Mac OS to TV/Projector/Monitor

We have smart TVs throughout the house apart from the bedroom (it's a standard LCD Samsung Flat Screen about 5 years old) and whilst we don't need it to be a smart TV it is handy to watch video and look at photos from your phone on a bigger screen. Plus, we moved house last year and lost the hdmi to micro usb cable I used to use to connect my kindle fire to the TV for streaming prime video etc.Thought I'd give this ago as I didnt want to splash out on a fire stick for something that wont get used loads.Its plug and play - plug the usb into the usb slot on the TV (for power) and the dongle into a hdmi slot. Scan wifi on your phone and connect to the dongle, then using your phones mirror screen (I have a samsung galaxy s10 + so it's called smart view on here) and you're away.Picture quality was good, had to.kuat adjust the colour setting on my TV as it was a bit bright and sounds is perfectly in sync.My kindle fire works the same - but I had to download a mirascreen app (instructions in the box) as the kindle doesnt have the software built in for smart viewing.Nice little bit of kit and even better than my hdmi cable I used to use for the kindle as its wireless so I dont have to get out of bed to use the kindle controls

Worst product I've ever bought. Thought I'd save a few quid versus buying a Chromecast and that another product must be able to do the same thing. But no, this is truly awful. The set up guide is confusing and hard to follow. The dongle plugs into your TV but then another wire plugs into the dongle and has to reach a plug port. And there's an app that is supposed to make things easier and a few websites to visit to look for guides. No easier. All just send you around in circles.Now I've read a few reviews, everyone has said the quality is appalling anyway. Will be chucking it in the bin and asking for a refund.Do not buy this. Pay the extra money and get a Chromecast or another device to mirror your phone/tablet/laptop to a TV.

Like many people I would guess, I wanted to use this dongle to transmit from my laptop to my TV when I am connected to the Internet. But the miracast uses its own discrete wireless connection to connect to the TV which means it does not allow you to use your regular wireless Internet connection as well.No problem with content on laptop displaying on my TV but only useful if you already have the content you want to transmit to your TV available on your laptop/PC so you can't connect to Youtube on laptop and transmit content to TV. Hence 3 stars and I returned it.

Two minutes out of the box and there was a picture on my screen, from my projector.So, so easy to set up. I mirrored from my Samsung A51.No synchronisation problems, not as smooth a picture as you may achieve if you were steaming from a laptop but it was very watchable, even as a100 inch image.Recommended

Quite happy with it. Wont work on my android tablet but works with my phones very well. Does pretty much what it says on the tin.

First off the picture quality is really poor and I had bought it to stream Apple TV from my iPad Pro. As I found out Apple TV itself isn’t compatible anyway although I was able to link my iPad with the dongle. It’s not the simplest setup but it will sync. Overall for me it’s useless.

I bought one of these as we have had a new TV which doesn't have a scart input. The box arrived very quickly and was very easy to setup (just plug in the scart lead and hdmi lead and that was it) but the output was very poor quality and in black and white. Contacted the seller and they were great. Having tried with the CVBS output it still didn't work. They sent a replacement with no quibble which worked first time.Quality of the video is not brilliant but better than not watching a DVD.If I knew how it would perform in retrospect I would have gone down the route of buying a new DVD player with hdmi output.Can't fault the supplier though.

Claims to be 4k capable but was buffering every 30 seconds when playing a 720p or 1080p video, if you want this for streaming local video from any device it's useless!My router cost me £349 and almost £2k on a 4x 1Gbps 24tb nas drive and it was useless so its obviously this dongle and not my hardware or video.Buy yourself an android tv box with a quad core for virtually same price and get no lag or buffering.If you simply want to mirror your phone screen or maybe cast YouTube off your phone then this is for you.
