Savory and delicious. Somewhat exotic.

If you enjoy Ras El Hanout as I do, this is a bargain compared to buying McCormick at the grocery store. It's a delightfully complex seasoning, like Garam Masala but more toned-down, perfect for using when cooking plain rice, stews, etc. Just used it to good effect on some Salmon burgers. If you haven't tried Ras El Hanout, here's a good place to start.

Taste is a very personal thing. I bought packaged Ras el Hanout because it is a pain to make from scratch. Depending on the recipe, it has over twenty ingredients. I found this mix a little dull in color; a little turmeric might have helped, or even a not-traditional little bit of paprika. I found it too light on Allspice, and I couldn't taste nutmeg or mace. I thought the cinnamon that was used was a very inexpensive Saigon cinnamon. I sensed more cumin than I like.To be clear, this was a very goodmix. I used it with leg of lamb and, another time, with chicken thighs; it was extremely good with the chicken (though the color was unexciting), but the lamb could have stood more power. In using this mix again, I will add cinnamon stick and more allspice and a little mace.

I have been expanding my culinary adventures in my kitchen and Spicy World had been a great seller to find what im looking for This a mild medium heat pepper that adds a nice flavor to your dishes.

One of my favorite spice blends. Ras al hanout translates to "top of the shop", and this product will elevate your favorite meats, veggies, and sauces to the next level!!!

Flavorful, but way too much capsaicin. Most Ras El Hanout blends I have used are savory spice blends. This one has way too much red chile flavor, like a hot Madras curry. Will not buy again.

We got this to make a Moroccan dish that we tried on Blue Apron and we wanted to recreate. It worked very well and we now have enough of this to make the dish about 100 times. But we couldn't buy it locally so we had to buy it on amazon. I'm not sure I really needed 7 oz of it, but nonetheless it was worth it to be able to make the dish. Very pleased. Spices are fresh and taste good.
