This coffee pot is gorgeous, lights up 4 different colors for the temperature you want. Mine is purple for my mushroom coffee 175 degrees. Great for coffees and all kinds of teas since they are best at the right temperature with destroying the nutrients and taste. It heats up fast and has an auto shut off when ready. It’s very beautifully made and overall 5 star Quality. Value for the money, you can’t beat it!! I would definitely purchase this again! BUY IT!!!!!! 💜

This electric kettle will boil or heat water to the selected temperature quickly, and reliably. It uses Strix electric controls, which is actually a very good thing if you don't realize what it means. Strix develops a range of safety and temperature control systems for appliances, of high quality, and with excellent durability. As an example, after I did some research, the controller in this kettle is rated for over 12,000 cycles. That's awesome. I love the glass of this kettle. It's easy to clean, reduces corrosion you'd get from a metal kettle, and allows easy visibility into the water being boiled. The other awesome part of this kettle is the temperature knob. On the bottom of the kettle there is a small knob protruding into the water that reads the temperature of the water as it's heating, which greatly improves accuracy of heating to selected temp. For the serious tea drinker, the adjustable temperature options are great. Not all tea should be steeped in boiling hot water, and this kettle gets you the right temps for those delicate teas. There's a colored LED base around the glass that indicates the temperature you've selected as well as when the heating is complete. It's beautiful and makes it easy to use. The kettle will also beep when finished with heating. This kettle does maintain selected temperature, provided you read the manual to find out how, it's not obvious at first use. However with how fast it heats and a genuine average use, there's really no need. Just turn it back on if it's been long enough to cool some and let it do it's thing. Your water will still be very hot, so it'll heat it up again very quickly. This kettle so far has been awesome and easy to use. I trust it to be reliable for many years to come. Highly recommend.

My favorite thing about this kettle is the keep warm feature. After I pour my first cup I can set the temperature and it will keep my second cup waiting for me for up to 2 hours. No more nuking the cupful or reboiling the whole kettle of tea by accident. I have read several comments about this pot saying it doesn't have the keep warm feature, to that I say "Maybe you should read the manual that came with it?" I do love how they say only to boil water in the container, I do that...then add my tea bags. After all what is the little metal strainer at the mouth of the pot for? Straining out stray chunks of water? The lights are useless but cute and give a distraction for my bleary eyes to focus on while I wait for my first cup, okay so maybe not useless. The opening is large enough that I can easily get my big hand in to clean the inside of the pot. I think it is the perfect solution for my tea drinking needs. It would also make a great gift for a tea drinker. After 3 years its still going strong! Ive taken it in the car for short vacations packed it in luggage for long ones and it has worked perfectly. Yes the plastic over the buttons has worn through but I use this every day and the buttons underneath function as well as they did the day I received it. I suspect one day I will drop this and break it ( I am pretty rough with things) when that day comes I will be online asap and order another one. Maybe I will order one now so I don't have to miss a day without it. Gotta go, there is something I need to order on amazon!

Purchased in February 2024 I have been using the kettle every day to almost twice a year depending on my needs between tea, oatmeal and grits. It has fairly accurate water temps. It does boil fast for black tea and chais and quick cereals. Unfortunately, the buttons do not withstand the usage of clicking. All my buttons have “popped” open.

There's much that my family and I love about this Brightown electric 1.7L kettle, but what I appreciate most is the company's above-and-beyond, 24/7 customer service. We had a problem with our kettle about four months into owning it. I contacted the company for assistance. Nicole at Brightown responded quickly, inquiring about the problem and ensuring me that they'd correct it. I outlined the issue, provided images and they expediently replaced the kettle. Again, what truly impressed me was Brightown's eager, upbeat and professional service approach; this is clearly a well-run company, one that's customer-focused and takes pride in its products, service and employees. Not once did Nicole indicate that I might have been responsible for the issue. Thank you, Brightown, my family is now a customer for life! There's a lot to love about this kettle (aside from the awesome multi-color LED display and reasonable price tag). The kettle auto shuts-off at the boil point, saving energy and time; it features just the right number (not too few or many) of temperature levels for tea; and the water heats up faster than any kettle we've owned—and we've owned many. Finally, the handle is sturdy, making lifting easy, and is consistently cool to the touch. Again, many thanks for the fine service and for making the best tea and coffee water boiler we've experienced!

heats fast and has multiple settings. I've only ever used the boil function so I can't speak to the temperature settings but it works better than the boil only kettles I've had in the past. It seems to boil a few seconds longer than I think is necessary but they all do that so it's probably me.
