Keeps out the chill
I purchased this shirt to wear at night because we keep our bedroom cool. Wearing this with a sweatshirt keeps me very comfortable when the room is at 63 degrees Fahrenheit. Well-made, nice material, and light weight. My size is between a medium and large, so I ordered the large because other reviewers noted that the sizes tended to be on the small size. It fit like a charm, and I have ordered another one.

Good price and performance but size up
I hike and live in the mountains so base layers are on me most of the year. Saw the price on this and took a shot. It's crazy soft against the skin, appears to be well made and provides pretty solid warmth. Not as a good a choice as merino if you're working hard on a trail but for more casual use I think it's good choice. Especially at the price. But you absolutely will need to size up. I'm a large in most all tops (6' 185) but I could barely put the large I initially ordered on. Had to exchange. I sized up to an XL and while it will work for how I'll use it, I still found it a little tight (although not too binding) and the sleeves are a bit short. If you're looking for a hiking baselayer I'd say at least one size up is the call. But if you're looking to wear it on its own outside, or just want to lounge/sleep comfortably, I'd suggest two sizes up.

Two thumbs up!
Got this for my husband for Christmas and he totally totally loves them. They have a really thin layer of fleece on the inside without being bulky, and kept in nice and warm here in New York in 25° weather.

Very comfortable and will keep you very warm
I was worried about the material being itchy like other thermals but I found the inside of the shirt to be coated with a very soft material and its in no way itchy . I actually ordered a total of three shirts in 2 days after the inital order. The only drawback is the run a lil small so if you are in between sizes go up to the larger size. I normally wear a M but i could have ordered a L . Other than that they will stretch to fit .

Decent Warmth but Quality Could Be Better
I purchased the Thermajohn Thermal Shirt to use as a base layer during early morning runs and colder commutes. While it does a fairly good job at providing light insulation and warmth, I was a bit disappointed with the overall quality of the material. The fit is snug and the compression feel is comfortable without being too tight, which I liked. It works well for layering under jackets or hoodies and does help retain body heat in moderately cold weather. However, after just a few washes, I started to notice some pilling and loose threads, especially around the sleeves and seams. The fabric also started to lose some of its stretch, which made it less comfortable over time. Additionally, the stitching on one of the sleeves began to unravel, which was frustrating considering I hadn’t even worn it for heavy activity. While it’s still usable, I expected better durability from a product designed for cold-weather performance. If you're looking for a budget base layer for occasional use, it might do the job, but if you need something long-lasting and durable, you may want to consider other options. Three stars.
