Works great
As a machinist I used it all day today and works great. I'm able to use small taps 10-32 and up with it. Heavy duty and strong sturdy built. It will last a long time.

Good for occassional tapping with larger taps
Needed a tap handle that could accommodate a 7/16" square end on the tap I had. This worked fine. It can easily loosen if you are not careful with how you operate the handles(as one of them screws in to clamp the tap bit). For occassional tapping which is all I'll ever use it for, it works fine. It seems reasonably heavy although I only tapped into plastic on my first use of this tool. I think it's good for the money.

Description is misleading
Description says fits 1/4-3/4" tap. I have a tap with a 5/8" shank and thought it would fit - not even close. I'd say this will fit a shank of no more than 1/2", maybe even a little less.Had to send it back. Seemed heavy and decent though, just too small for my tap.
