Wow! What a cool horn! I was really loving playing until the 3rd valve started to stick! I tried cleaning it, oiling it, cleaning it off again... nothing has worked. I might have to send it back if the pTrumpet people don't respond.Edit:I contacted customer support and within 12 hours they had replied with some helpful advice. All of the valves are interchangeable so I switched out the 2nd and 3rd valve and I haven't had any problems! Great horn!

Great value. Plays like the real thing and is much lighter.

For a plastic trumpet this thing is pretty cool. Its fun to play on! I have dropped this thing a few times and it has never been damaged. The valves are pretty quick and responsive, I have not had one get stuck yet. This would be great for someone who wants to play trumpet for fun or maybe a young kid wondering if it is for them. It does play differently than a true brass instrument. Pitch centering is different on notes as well as low range (below C) is not the best. I play better on a true brass trumpet mouthpiece rather than the plastic ones for the low range. The color of the sound is good, not the same as a trumpet but it it nice. Fun to play, not frustrating at all. I am glad I went with this one over the other ones on the market.I am a come back player (I played all through middle school and HS). I sold my trumpets a few years ago and I wanted to give it a go again for fun. This is helping me get my embouchure back. Once I get to where I feel like I am back to the old me, and I have the funds I will go get me a bach strad most likely. This also would be a good horn to travel with to practice in the hotel or whatever. Impressed with the product.

The horn was unplayable. All 3 valves will stick. I tried oiled and dry, nothing helped. Sanding is supposed to be not allowed, but I even tried that. I would have sent it back except the third valve slide snapped off which was my fault. I then discovered that the second valve also leaks into the third. There are other brands that might work, however a reputable music store said they only carry the trombones.. the trumpets aren't worth the trouble.

Looks nice, tone surprisingly good for what it is, a little dark, not bad. Intonation was quite good, especially compared to the other plastic trumpet brand. No trouble getting/staying in tune. Plays a little loose, very easy to lip slur in the upper register. Except for the valves I absolutely love this thing. Valves started off great but after two weeks of daily playing they began sticking. No amount of cleaning/oiling could get them back to usable condition so this one is going back. 35 years trumpet experience.

Best type of instrument for a beginner or for any player looking for a fun horn to play on.

The product as a whole is good. One of the valves started to stick (doesn't bounce back) after a month of light use, and no amount of cleaning/oiling helps. Warranty was for, yes, you guessed it, a month. If I can find a good solution for to fix the valve, it might increase the star-count on this review, but the unreliability of this product is disappointing. Otherwise, it has the potential to be a good travel instrument - rugged, and good looks. Even sounds fairly decent ( a bit "compressed" in tone).

Simply amazed at the quality of this plastic instrument. My son's entire trumpet section will be ordering soon. Great product!
