Does this support big cameras like canon rebel t6i?

Hi Ebrahem. This was designed for GoPro and other action cameras in mind. It will hold the camera but it's possible to get camera movement at high speeds with heavier gear like the t6i. I will test a Nikon D7000 which has is similar weight to the t6i and report back to you.

Will this work with my GoPro hero 5?

Yes all of the accessory mounts are universal and work with all GoPro cameras.

Would this work with a phone?

Hi there! you would need to purchase a separate phone adapter.

Does this product have to clamp to a vertical post? i want to put it on my rear bicycle rack, on a horizontal pole. would the gopro be oriented right?

Hey there! That would work for sure. It will be as solid as your rack. Both ball joints are fully omnidirectional, and there are two locking elbow joints on the arm so you'll be able to get the camera just about anywhere you'd like.
