Low cost yet good quality from a reputable brand.
Well made. Allowed me to make a couple of adjustable lanyards with dynamic rope aka a lightweight positioning/belay anchor. Allows the rope to slide and lock precisely when you need it.

As expected. It's not anodized just blue paint/dye.
Works as expected. The blue coating was gone from all wear surfaces after the first 5min. I was going to say first day but it was really the first time I used it to lock off a rope. I have not used it much but I am confident it will do the job.

ich habe mir das bestellt um eine verstellbare Kurzsicherung (so wie z.B. Rock Empire PIP) zu haben. Lange habe ich nach 8-9 mm Dynamikseil gesucht - nicht Reepschnur! - mit dem Beal 8.1 Unicore habe ich ein Seil gefunden, das mit dem Kong zusammen ein Positionierwerkzeug bis 10m Länge UND einer Dämpfung des Fangstoßes bietet. Perfekt zur Kurzsicherung, als Backup an der Steigklemme, zur Positionierung an der Steigklemme oder am Anschlagpunkt. Super auch als verstellbare Trittschlinge.
