So far, so good. K.O.W.
Got these paddles cus I wanted to start competing, and I hadn't played in awhile - always recreational. So I'm not a beginner. But I'm a beginner competitor and whether or not I get a nicer paddle, I just wanted to make sure that I had good control and overall good basics, before trying something made more for expert players. So these are pretty darn good, from a basic level. They're made well enough and my game has improved just by having them, over the ones available at the rec center - even from the same brand, simply because these are brand new, clean, and have some "stick" to them. Playing is so much more fun, with nice new paddles that aren't falling apart of have divets in them! Pretty decent paddles.

Good Quality for the Price and Great for Beginners or Families
These ping pong paddles seem to be made well for this price point. They are not top of the line and don't offer much as far as grip or spin but if you're just looking for a decent set to mess around with, these will do just fine. We bought them as a new to the sport family who play every now and then in the garage and they have been great for that purpose. Since then we have upgraded to a more intermediate tier paddle but these are still around for friends and family to use. They seem to be pretty durable compared to other beginner or family sets. Very lightweight but solid with a large sweet spot for control. The rubbers are thin so they play more direct but I gravitated toward more of a spin style. I would recommend these for anyone looking for decent quality in a beginner set but if you're serious about getting into ping pong, you'll probably want to go for a higher tier paddle.

Nice paddle
Works great, feels good in your hand, but the rubber surface started peeling at the top on one of our paddles pretty quickly. Will have to apply some glue...

The right quality for the price
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wish they had a bit more touch, but I was really just looking for some decent paddles for kids to use that can take a bit of a beating, while not breaking the bank. These are the perfect step up from the basic paddles that came with the table we bought.

Great Paddles
Just what they should be. Great paddles and balls.

USATT approved
The first paddles I got for my ping pong table were light and cheaply made. These Stiga paddles are much better quality. They have wooden handles, have a nice grip, are heavier and I have noticed I play better with them.
