This is My Second Set of These Tabs and I Love Them!
I purchased a new Bible recently and wanted to get tabs to go with it. A couple months ago, I ordered Bible Tabs: Majestic Bible Tabs, Lavender and had great success with those so I decided to go with tabs from the same company again, this time in gold. They are just the right price point and I knew what I was getting so I didn't hesitate to purchase these. These tabs are ideal for bigger bibles such as Life Application Study Bible: New Living Translation, which is one of the Bibles I own. For smaller Bibles, you may want to look at buying mini Bible tabs. This package of tabs contains a total of 84 gold foil-edged tabs with the names of the Bible printed on both sides. There are a total of seven sheets of tabs with 12 tabs on each sheet. The white and gold parts of the tabs with the books of the Bible on them each measure about an inch long by 1/4 inch high. Some of these sets don't contain tabs for the Catholic books of the Bible but this one does! In addition to the tabs that work for both the Protestant and Catholic Bibles, this set also includes tabs for the books of Judith, Tobit, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach, and Baruch. There are also tabs for Notes (3), Special, Concord, Index, Old and New Testaments, Maps, Practice, Life Verse, Helps, and General. These tabs are made in China. This is my second set of tabs so I already knew how to put them on and the process took me about an hour since I was doing it very carefully. If this is your first time doing it, you will definitely want to read the instructions carefully and possibly practice with the "practice" tab or some of the tabs you don't plan to use. Here are some tips I've learned from applying two sets of these tabs:- Don't rush! The clear parts of the tabs are just like stickers and once they are applied to the pages, you may not be able to remove them. If you haven't pressed them down firmly yet, you MAY be able to carefully remove them from the thin pages and redo it but I wouldn't count on being able to do that. I was able to do it with my first set and I was glad I hadn't pressed the tabs down too much at that point.- When using a new sheet of tabs, always fold the tabs along the gold edges (or whatever color you happen to purchase) BEFORE removing them from the sheets. This will help you to fold the tabs over more easily when you are applying them in your Bible.- I've had great success peeling the tabs from the actual tab than with the clear sticky part because sometimes the tab starts to pull away. Much like peeling a sticker off a page, I would peel off the tabs from the white and gold parts where it is a bit stronger.- When you are applying the tabs, always look to see which position this next tab should be (e.g. 1,2,3...) before applying the tab to the page. Sometimes I forget which position this tab is, so I just look at the ones I already did to see where this next tab should go.- You will always apply the tabs to the pages on the right, no matter where the book of the Bible begins. Some of my tabs are on the title page of that book and others are on the page with the first couple of chapters.- If some of the words in your Bible come to the edge of the pages, don't worry about not being able to see with these tabs. The parts that actually touch the pages are clear so you will be able to see through them with no problems.- Once you've attached a tab and are happy with how it looks, make sure there is only one page sticking to the tab before you fold the tab over to the other side. After the tabs are fully applied, I always smooth the tabs down on both sides.- When I'm opening my Bible with these tabs, I don't pull on the tabs since they could rip the thin pages. Instead, I find the book I need, slide my finger in and open my Bible that way.The more I use these tabs, the more I like them! I've already successfully attached two sets of tabs and I still have at least one more to do. I feel these tabs are very helpful to me so I can quickly navigate through my Bible, especially during church. They come in several different colors and styles to fit different personalities and they are priced nicely so you can purchase several sets if you need to or give them as gifts. If you have a Bible and want to purchase some tabs, I highly recommend this brand of tabs! Some of the colors won't work for Catholic Bibles but these gold ones do. I actually find applying these tabs to be fun and relaxing and look forward to doing another set soon!

Pleasantly surprised…
Beautiful shiny gold tabs appeared as a suggested purchase, and without thinking, I quickly added them to cart and checked out. I completely missed the “gold-edged” detail, in the description, because from the thumbnail, they looked like gold tabs. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and saw white tabs with a gold strip. After reviewing my order details, and I realized I’d received exactly what I ordered, I thought I’d might as well give them a try.I decided to follow the provided Placement Guide instructions to align the tabs, overlapping the tabs, which I wasn’t feeling at first. However by the end, it grew on me. There was a little over a sheet of extra unused tabs, as it included tabs for the Universal Deuterocanon books (sheets 6 and 7). I was able to use a few of the extra tabs on my other books. Overall, the gold-edge looks neat and sleek. For the price, these tabs can’t be beat.

These are great!
LOVE these! They are the perfect size for my Bible! Make sure you overlap the tabs slightly when putting them on the pages.

Confusing Instructions *updated*
Maybe I was just tired because it was 6 AM, but I found the instructions for putting the tabs on my Bible a little confusing. My Bible is big enough that it goes down to 19 tabs, but all my tabs are near the top of the book. My thinking was that the numbers on the sticker page meant it was all supposed to go together. For instance, I put all the tabs from the same sticker page with a 2 written on it, and put them all on the 2nd row. I really should have read more carefully and even just looked at the picture, but by the time I realized what I had done, I was almost finished. The tabs are still perfectly functional and they'll be a great help, but it doesn't look like the picture at all (because of my mistake). In fact, it looks pretty ugly with them all stacked on top of each other. The fact that it's a paper book and the tabs stick permanently is what I find the most challenging of all. I am disabled and shake as part of my condition, and it took me 3 hours to put all the tabs on my pages because of it. Luckily, while being very careful, I was able to undo some of the mistakes I made. Overall, I give this a rating of 4/5 because the tabs work as advertised, but the instructions confused me.*UPDATE*I have now purchased the Gold and Silver tabs, and I used both to label my Bible. From my review of the Silver: "The instructions for the silver tabs were different from the ones for the golden tabs and even used fewer tab spaces, so no tabs overlapped like the golden ones. I don't know why the instructions for the gold and silver tabs are different, but personally, I like the silver tabs much better. I made the difference work to my advantage; now that I've bought the silver tabs, I have placed them at the introduction to the chapter and the golden ones at the first verse. This way, I was able to create a system that works for me. The silver tabs are spread out in the correct manner, and the golden ones are near the top, so when I'm flipping through the Bible, I first use the silver tabs to find the book and then use the golden tabs at the top to find the first verse."For these reasons, the Gold gets a 4/5 from me, and the Silver a 5/5 because the instructions were clearer and easier to understand. New picture added for reference.

Gave old Bible a new look and easier navigation
I tabbed an old well used Study Bible with these tabs. The pages were a bit worn and thumbing through them all the time didn’t help. I got the mini tabs so that it would be easier on the pages. I have already tabbed 4 Bibles at our home so this one went very quickly. These are the best quality tabs I have used and I used the regular sized ones for the last 3 Bibles I did. I think the mini tabs were the best choice here and I need glasses to read the Bible anyway so the size of the print doesn’t bother me. It’s perfectly comfortable with my glasses. I would highly recommend these tabs. Some reviewers have noted that there is no tab for John 2. The tab for John 1-3 encompasses all 3 and this is how it is marked. Nothing is missing
