If you soak it in a detergent do you "rinse" it or just hang to dry?

This product is a mess...it is NOT the size they say... "maybe" it's 2' x 7'... Then they sent me an email saying " maybe it shrunk".....it is the thinnest worthless plastic...I don't see how it would even survive a " wash".... find something else.

I'm looking for shade cloth type material, what type of material is this made of?

It's a heavy duty plastic that holds up well for my use. I don't think it costs much so trying 1 wouldn't hurt. If you were going to put it up over your head to block out some sun like a grape vine would, it should work well, but it won't keep moisture from falling through.

Can you cut this to make it smaller?

I cut this netting to fit and it cuts easily. It has not unraveled or frayed. It has withstood brisk winds and has stayed in good shape.
