Very easy to program from another remote. It works pretty well to open the gate to my community. I purchased the same remote about a year ago and that one still works well, which is why I felt confident repurchasing it as a second remote. The quality is appropriate and what you would want, but the cost does not justify itself for such a simple, little device.

I struggled for weeks testing other garage openers, none of them worked. But then I purchased this particular product, and it works flawlessly!!! The setup is super easy and takes just seconds. I will purchase a couple more soon just to keep handy. I did not even need to enter my garage. I opened the box in my kitchen table, put this product in front of my existing garage door opener, follow the procedure, and in a few seconds I had an exact copy of the garage opener. I then went outside, and voila, I could open my garage door with this product. Thanks!!!!

It worked great! Had no trouble learning to mimic my garage opener, only issue it's a bit fragile on the inside bracket that holds the battery in place so don't drop it! And if you crack it open to replace the battery it's VERY easy to break that bracket that holds the battery in place off the circuit board, so be careful! Or have a soldering kit. Worked for a few months before battery died so I'd say it was worth it.

I had the most trouble le finding ONE remote that will work on both my Genie (early 2001 model) garage doors AND the antiquated (dipswitch pin) HOA gate. I had to try out many different makes of remotes from Amazon before I came across this one. This is not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either, but it works "magically" well with easy "learning" on both my Genie and Linear dipswitch openers.

Remote does not work for apartment gate or garage door and is within its frequency range, does not work after also contacting the garage door customer service.

This product is easy to clone other remotes and to consolidate them into one device. I have several of these products and keep them in my car, on my bike and in my workout bag so i can open my community gates, two garage doors and another gate at my tennis center. Will definitely buy again if i need more

A little complicated to set up but otherwise works great as expected. I’m using it for our entrance gate to our neighborhood. Saved me from having to pay my HOA $$ for a new remote!
