Maxi Health® Liquid Melatonin for Kids, Drops (2 fl oz)

I have used this particular brand for my daughter for at least 4 years and I have it on autoship. There is no taste or associated texture so my daughter does not know it is in her drink at bedtime. This is a great brand with exceptional value for the money!

We are on our second bottle and are very impressed. 1. It can be used by the entire family, kids included. 2. No flavor 3. A little goes a long way. I've used a lot of brands of melatonin and this one is one of the top in quality for me. I give my kids 2-3 drops about 30 min before bed when they are really wired and it helps them transition very well. Same with us adults! Also, no weird dreams like some melatonin tends to do, likely because I can play with the dose. I received a personal thank you in the mail from the owner of Mel-O-Drops, Joseph, which speaks volumes to me in today's world. That is the reason I am writing the review, it's nice to see an entrpenuer take pride in his business these days. We will continue to purchase.

I have been using this product with my kids since 2017. Both kids have ADHD and struggle to go to sleep. Before we started using Mel-O-Drops bedtime would extend until late into the night, with both kids popping in and out of our room like the world’s least fun game of whack-a-mole. Now our nightly routine includes what my kids call "magic water". We put a little splash of water into a cup, add the Mel-O-Drop to the water and the kids drink it. 30 minutes later we turn off the lights and the kids fall asleep. I like this product because we're able to add just enough of the supplement according to each of the kids need. Our older one needs 5 drops, our younger one needs 1 mL. We started off with one drop for each and increased until we got good results. We've forgotten to pack Mel-O-Drops when on vacation and have had to try out other products. We find that they don't work as well, and they don't allow us to control the amount of melatonin we're giving to our kids. I wouldn’t want to consistently give my kids more melatonin than they need. I also use the product occasionally when I have trouble falling asleep. The taste is pleasant, and I don't get the upset stomach I have when using other melatonin products in the past. So yeah, 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend.

These drops have honestly fixed bedtime at our house. We’ve got four kids, this helps them doze off when they’re a little wound up. The best part of these drops is that you can adjust the dose. We even do less than one drop sometimes (just mix one drop with water and then give drops of the mixture). Kids like the flavor and never object. These work for grownups, too, by the way. In fact probably better than pills because, again, you can take a smaller dose than the giant 5 or 10mg pills. I’ve found that a dropper full (10 drops, or 1mg) actually works better than the higher dose pills. This is the only melatonin product we buy anymore. We love this stuff!

It's hard to find a melatonin supplement that provides a truly low dose. After learning that melatonin is only continuously effective at around 0.30 mg (or less) and failing to find any pill version that low, I was so happy to find Mel-O-Drop liquid melatonin. The dropper with markings makes it easy to measure the correct dose, and we both like the flavor. Since it's not a pill, you can just keep it on the nightstand to take at bedtime, no water required. We're on our third bottle and very grateful for this product, which helps us both fall asleep and stay asleep better than before. I love having complete control over the dosage and feel comfortable that we're not overdoing it.

We have two children with sleep difficulties. One takes a long time to fall as sleep (7) and the other one just does not sleep through the night and wakes multiple times (3). The parents have not gotten any consistent sleep in three years. We have significant sleep issues that at 3 have not resolved despite multiple interventions. This product has helped us have a better night sleep as my son will wake once rather than multiple times. This is the only reason I don’t use the 5th star. We are still in the quest for Zzzzs. But thanks to this product we sleep more than we have in three years and HE does as well. The vanilla flavor combines well with the whole milk that my son drinks before bed. The 7 year old was having nightmares with another product and not since we started using this. I will purchase it again.
