These are identical to the Catnee scissors I had to replace after 6 months. They worked great for about 2 months and just got stickier and duller until they no longer worked. My Cuisinart Scissors lasted 8 years, this is going to last a few months.The Catnee scissors are long gone from Amazon, now they have a new color and name, but they're identical.

I bought them to use in the kitchen cutting up raw chicken to feed to my dogs. Does an excellent job with the flesh and tendons. It can handle only small bones...but I expected that. These are not designed for cutting through thick bones. I like the handles... keeps your hands from slipping. Good mechanical advantage... i.e. strong jaws. They do exactly what I wanted and they do it well. Highly recommended.

I have been needing to replace my old kitchen shears for awhile. I read reviews carefully before purchasing this one and I am very pleased with the product. I have neuropathy in my fingers and arthritis in my hands, so opening jars and bottles is difficult for me. The added bottle/jar opener feature on this scissor is great! I also like the sharpness of the blades and the grips fit well. The scissors are easy to use for many things in the kitchen and for cooking. Highly recommend.

I have a lot of criteria for my kitchen shears, but probably the most important is that they can go in the dishwasher. If you're using shears, say to cut chicken, snip some flowers, and open tough packaging, you should be able to pop them in the dishwasher to clean/disinfect. I've been doing just that since I received both pairs of scissors without any problems. The only other thing I would wish for is that you could separate the scissors for even more thorough cleaning (thus only 4 stars for easy-to-clean). But for the price, they're attractive, easy to hold, and versatile. I do recommend them.

This Kitchen Shears product is pretty sharp, easy to use, sturdy enough, and multifunctional as described. It also comes with the black sheath, which is nice and neat. Hopefully it will last long enough so that I don’t need to claim the lifetime warranty that is a good value added. I have experienced no problems so far with it.

Do not buy, extremely cheap, dull and poorly made. the description says heavy duty. there isnt anything heavy duty about these. I gave them to my niece to cut pics out of magazines. these aren't kitchen shears at all, just cheap junk. don't be fooled by the erroneous description.

The long-term durability is questionable however it definitely worked well for cutting snow crab. It’s a little large for this task.

I bought these to replace a pair I bought second-hand six years ago. They rusted my first use and I haven't used them since. I should have returned them, but now I'm past the return date.I've had them five weeks now and only used them once, hence the one star. I've been using my ancient scissors as they're still better than these.The first thing I noticed was the pronounced gap between the blades when closed (pic). The blades are curved (for a closer cut?), however, the grinding metal was disconcerting. They were difficult to cut with at first, but by the time I'd finished dicing a pound of chicken they felt looser. Which only added to my apprehension as I worried about metal shavings in my food.After use, I cleaned them and placed them upside down in my dish drainer as I always do. When I put them away the next day I noticed rust on the tip where it had laid in contact with the plastic of the drainer (water must not have evaporated quickly enough due to the contact).They've sat in my drawer ever since. I recommend trying a different brand. Due to both quality and safety concerns.

Bought this because it looked effective and was reasonably-priced. If you're right-handed, these work well. I'm not, and thus, this doesn't.

Por el precio pensé que serían unas tijeras económicas y que seguramente desecharía en poco tiempo, sin embargo me han impresionado lo filosas que son y lo resistentes que se sienten.Las uso todo el tiempo en la cocina y cortan sin mucho esfuerzo; los cortes son firmes y precísos.Se puede decir que son multiuso ya que con ellas se puede no solo cortar, sino también destapar corcholatas, quitar las escamas a los pescados, y abrir nuéces.Si estás buscando unas tijeras para la cocina de calidad y precio razonable, éstas son las adecuadas.

Awesome scissors. Delivered in a timely manner. Well packaged. Have used them a few times and they feel very sturdy and are sharp. Good value for your money. They come with a cover that easily slides on and off the scissors for protection and it does not matter which way the cover is placed on the scissors, there is no “wrong” way. Much better than the scissors I paid twice as much for. Highly recommend

I was watching BTS cut green onions and pork belly with kitchen shears and thought “why do I not own a pair of these?” They are awesome, I use them all the time now. Thank You BTS for introducing me to kitchen shears..
