Sturdy and easy to install, but the instructions were vague and depended on the pictures a lot. So if you aren't into tinkering, I could see where some of the reviewers said they couldn't understand how to install.For anyone having issues, here is where I slowed down on the assembly: there is a black pole inside of the top section of the pole sticking out on one end. That inner black pole has a hole going through the side of it, a little ways down on the threaded part. You put the small metal rod all the way through to get the leverage to twist it tight. For me, the inner pole was twisted down quite a ways, so the outer pole was covering it and I almost missed it. I had to twist the inner pole out in order to see the hole. Once you find that, make sure you put the ring of the cover on top of the other metal ring (the "adjuster") and then the cover slides up. In the earlier step when it tells you to add the cover, make sure the holes are up towards the ceiling, too.It's heavy duty, doesn't wiggle at all once tightened correctly (and I carry some extra weight). The steel material is slick enough to slide but you can still get a good grip. There were two optional extenders, and I only needed one, and was able to adjust to be very tight to the ceiling. Now that I have that inner pole figured out, it'll be easy to setup and take down as needed. Overall I was really impressed with this for the price.

Don’t buy this please. So so so so so hard to install. I gave up and the bottom piece came loose and broken. I can’t even return it because the pieces are stuck and don’t fit into the box. Wasted my money.

Love the pole. So far no issues. The only downfall is there are screws that you have to take in and out to make the pole spin/stay in place.

It’s a good value for cheap price compared to some of the other ones I’ve seen it wasn’t hard to install once I figured out the slanted ceiling issue it’s a good size and it’s sturdy it holds me and I’m 140.

Don’t like to leave bad reviews but. This pole doesn’t worse even this amount of money. First package looks like someone alredy bought it before. You can see paper is ripped inside and a tone of tape. Ok i set it up I tried to try spin as i really need spin and instead of spining it started unscrewing so almost fell and then i tried to put it in normal position not to fell and it did a hole in my ceiling. And no spining at allDoesn’t feel very sturdy. Like i put everything together good so seems ok but i feel it can go back go wiggling position when you try to do something but tell you truth after all that im scared.So i will return it,First i wanted to leave 1 star but as amazon gave us option to return i will put two more just for return . So better invest in proffesional pole for sure

I’ve owned 2 poles and my friends have owned multiple as well, this one received the best reviews between us, fantastic pole! I used it for years (cleaned is with 75% isopropyl alcohol from the dollar store, worked flawlessly), when I moved and couldn’t take it with me, I gave it to a friend and she considered it a massive upgrade from her other pole. I’m now saving to get the same exact pole for my new place! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Everything came and it's relatively easy to setup.There are magnetic post levelers that would make it a breeze if your setting up and taking it down more regularlyChanging from static to spinning is a bit annoying if your doing it frequently.The hardware quality is what it is for $200. Should be good enough for most users but could be better

The static mode is a joke. Clearly used to have a better system for the base that was changed to a single center bolt which always becomes loose no matter how hard you tighten it. So even in static mode it turns. Avoid if you are looking for one that has a real static mode. Garbage

Fairly easy to assemble and quite sturdy. I cannot get it out of static mode though, so that kind of sucks. Not a huge deal though, because I've only ever danced on static poles.

It keeps falling down, the instructions were illiterate and hard to follow and now the cover is stuck on the foundation of the pole and I can’t take it off. Also wiggles a lot.
