Claire Bowman White Cake Lace - 200g

I love this product. I have been using it for years. It is so easy to use and I get great results, and the finished product lasts for years.

This Cake Lace was so easy to mix, and came together quickly!!! Spreading it onto the mat was so easy, and fun!!! I let my first one bake longer than needed, so it was very tricky releasing, but after I got the hang of it, it came out beautifully!!! Definitely need care in releasing it, but so well worth it!!! The taste is actually very good!!! I just ordered my second tub! Oh and mixing color into it is a breeze!!! I love this product!!!

Wow! Such an amazing product. It takes a couple of tries to get it right. If it's undercooked its sticky and falls apart and its overlooked it crumbles. Plan on practicing on a couple of batches and adjusting your oven temperature. When you get it right- boy, is it AMAZING!! So easy to use. I cut my strip of lace with scissors and adhered it to the cake with water. I made the lace a few days before and kept it loosely wrapped in parchment paper. I also watched Claire bowman's video on how to make it. I encourage anyone to try it. This is probably the 10th cake I've made, so I'm not expert by any means.

Very difficult to measure the two ingredients correctly. Then you have to "bake" it in the oven. The pieces don't come out of the mat easily and they have a weird texture/pattern to them. Not pleased and won't use this again. I normally use Sugar Veil but thought I would try this product. Always looking for something "better" but this definitely isn't it. Go with Sugar Veil: simple, easy, and makes good quality pieces.

First time trying this and it was worth it. You have to be patient and delicate to work with this other wise can be tricky. I only used one recipe to do this cake so it’s definitely worth the price, I have so much left! Came out beautiful and easy to stick on the cake, just follow instructions. Try to use light water when you want to glue on the cake or lace can melt easily.

Used for wedding cake for nephew and bride. Worked like a charm. It does say test your oven. My oven was not hot enough. So I had to increase temperature and bake a little longer. But it was perfect. And I thought I would have some waste from pretrial. Not so. I bought 2 cans and made 21 pieces of lace. Could have made more, had some left. Very happy. I would buy again.

Tiny package, all directions in metric system. I used a sharpie to write the conversions so I don't need to look them up every time but they aren't exact.
