Sturdy and long lasting
I’ve used this to refine a few meals, from banana purée, potato purée, pea farce, and more. Love the large size, it’s easy to hold over a bowl, pan, or cookie sheet.

I have been looking for a sieve which is sturdy. This is it. It looks very durable. You can use this for a large batch of anything you want to sift. I have used it a couple of times. It is very good.

Sturdy, durable, good quality
I purchased these for my bakery, and it gets used often. Have not had any problems, the mesh is nice and sturdy, good quality. I use it for everything-flour, cocoa powder, any dry ingredients.

Arrived damaged But very unsturdy product
Arrived bent but screen had already pulled away from the housing. This sieve would not have withstood 10 shovels of gravel. Returned immediately not to buy another one.

22 holes per inch. Not good for removing bran.
I got the 16" size. Thr mesh has 22 holes per inch.I got it to make high extraction flour from wheat that I mill at home on my Nutrimill. A high extraction flour results in about 85% of the whole grain weight because almost all of the bran is removed. First pass through this sieve resulted in 95% extraction flour because a lot of the bran passed through. I was progressively able to get more bran removed, but it wasn't very efficient and took way too long. So if you want a sieve for removing bran, you need to get one with a finer mesh.Thr quality is okay. Mine came with significant dents on the rim, and also some warping.
