Fan-tabulous Product!
These chips are GREAT!!! Super low in carbs (only 5 in the whole bag before they do the "net carb" garbage which, in all fairness, is garbage -- a carb is a carb and your body does NOT recognize "net carbs"), really high in protein, great crunch like a "real" chip, light, and taste wonderful!!! If you like chips (potato or corn) but have to limit or eliminate them while you're dieting THIS is the product/company for you! I have a huge issue with carbs - my body turns them straight into sugar, so I keep them out of my diet as much as possible. The fact that Quest chips only have 5 carbs in an entire bag makes me want to shout with joy from the rooftops! I had a cup of low fat cottage cheese and a bag of these chips for lunch. The cottage cheese had 28 grams of protein with 6 carbs and these chips added 19 grams of protein with 5 carbs. Eleven carbs at one meal is really high for me, but I eliminated the carbs from my dinner (and only needed a light dinner because the protein kept me full all day). Forty-seven grams of protein in one meal with under 400 calories is a trainer's dream!! I've also tried Quest's barbeque flavor chips, sour cream and cheddar chips, and taco flavored tortilla chips which are as low in carbs and high in protein. The barbeque flavor really is like eating a regular barbeque flavored potato chip, and the taco flavored tortilla chips really taste great - like eating a taco! Not a big fan of the sour cream and cheddar chips which surprised me....but, you can't have everything! Don't know how Quest scientists did it, but they did a bang up job!!

Sour cream & Onion
This review is for the sour cream & onion flavor. They are really good! As a diabetic foodie, I am constantly looking for new low carb snack ideas that taste good. These chips do it for me. They can sometimes have a slight aftertaste, but it's not that bad. The bags are pretty big too, for a single serve snack. They are pricey, but what isn't these days. However, if you're watching your diet, get the cheddar & sour cream. You are guaranteed to lose weight, because you will never eat them because they taste like feet.

Great protein chips for sure
What a treat! These are very tasty and a great value. Nice for portion control and crunchy and with 19 grams of protein! I like this flavor and also the sour cream and cheddar. They are well made and good seasoning.

Nice option for a protein crunchy snack, but a little too sour/vinegary
The Sour Cream & Onion flavor of the Quest protein chips is somewhat enjoyable (and I'm a sour cream & onion chips fan), but the sourness is more vinegary to me than sour cream or buttermilk like; the (green) onion flavor is perfectly balanced and there's some tiny green sprinkles that I assume are dried chives. Just don't expect them to taste like regular potato chips. The Quest chips are a filling crunchy (very dry) protein snack, but they are still a highly processed food, even if they are baked. The flavors are not the best, but they're somewhat enjoyable or at least tolerable. If you look for extra protein, they're fine; but there are many more natural chip options at ~130 calories per snack bag of 28-32g if you just want a crunchy `healthy` savory snack. The combination of protein powder, corn starch and psyllium husks makes this chips very dry and I strongly recommend drinking lots of water when eating these. The chips are very thin, almost paper like thin. I can actually understand why the dryness of these chips reminds some people of cardboard, but I personally don't mind this texture. I do like the option of protein savory snacks since I don't have a sweet tooth and I dislike that all protein bars are sweet (some offerings being sickening sweet). Also, compared to the Quest protein bars, I like that they're not overloaded with fiber (which causes me sometimes bloating). I like that the chips are portioned, but they are not a snack that's good on the go. Depending on the bag, more or less chips get crumbled and you need to `scoop` the remains.

Great alternative to a traditional bag of chips
Calorie wise, these aren't much better than a regular bag of chips. But nutrition wise, they seem to be the better alternative. They provide a good amount of protein and less carbs and fat than your regular potato chips. The flavor is great! The texture is suitable. Like a lot of higher protein items, it does have a sort of gritty texture when you're done chewing, but that doesn't bother me. These are good to have on hand if you're trying to cut back on junk food eating habits. If you're truly craving something salty, they provide a more guilt free alternative!

Here's your review
Tastes good initially, but the aftertaste is really bad. It also has a certain texture that borders on a stale crunch - not quite crispy like regular chips. Macros: 19g protein and 4g net carbs, which is solid for a high-protein snack if you're watching carbs. Would I buy again? Probably, but it's not my favorite to eat, which could be a good thing for keeping me from overeating. If they tasted amazing, I'd demolish the whole bag. Bottom line: If you're prioritizing protein and low carbs over taste and texture, these work. Just don't expect regular chip quality - manage your expectations, and they're fine as a functional snack.

my absolute favorite flavor of quest chips
These are, hands-down, my favorite flavor. They won't kick you out of ketosis and satisfy the snack cravings.
