Corvette 1968-1982 Restoration Guide, 2nd Edition (Motorbooks Workshop)

I bought this book as a supplement to my "stack of stuff" from the late 1980's on everything Corvette C3 style. This is a great resource with all the information required to build a NCRS stock C3 - good starting guide. Nice photo's too and all the good information for "what goes with what year" and what you can expect from the factory as far as build quality. One of my better "go to" books for a quick reference, or for even more than just a quick reference - If you don't own a book like this, then this is a must buy for you. The author did a good job.I recommend this to others, like friends and relations who own or want to own a C3 Corvette...

This is an excellent reference for any c3 owner or perspective owner. It details all the items with not only the number codes, but also what color each item should be painted/not painted an where they are located when doing a restoration project. I would recommend reading this guide before hand to anyone wishing to purchase a c3. Great color photos, and it also contains tons of information in the back of the guide about engine variations, trannies, options available for each particular year etc...........Highly recommended.

I wish that there where more photographs to detail out what is discussed in the text. Good source of information.

Everything, and every change between all years of C3. I found this book very interesting reading.

Excellent info on OE parts, and excellent option code breakdown, much better than the C3 buying guide published by the same company at a fraction of the price.

There is no maintenance information in this book. Just a review of what badges, colors, and part numbers the car had in factory stock trim. I suppose if you're one of those guys that likes to go to car show's and argue with people about aftermarket radios killing the value of their Vette it might be OKAY.

Very informative book, and has a lot of interesting facts and features if you want to learn more about the c3 corvette.

note maxi pour ce très beau livre( tout en couleur) qui n est absolument pas un guide de restauration comme c est écris, mais un guide de l exacte apparence d origine des voitures,de l intérieur,du compartiment moteur.les couleurs et emplacements d origine de tout les composants de toutes les années sont représentes.un superbe livre a posséder pour le plaisir des yeux ou si vous devez choisir une corvette de cette epoque
