I love this thing!
I had the Presonus studio channel, it didn't quite do all I needed, and it added a tiny bit of audible noise. Gave that to a friend and got the DBX 1066. AMAZING unit! I do a live syndicated radio show (Freedom Feens), and my co-hosts are remote, in different states, and coming through to me via Skype (!). I run my mic through channel 1, and the hosts through Channel 2. Sound is beefy, clear, never distorted and without noise. This thing rocks the airwaves.The attached pic shows my settings for Channel 1, they're pretty much the same on channel 2.

and I couldn't be happier!
I tried a BBE MaxCom, and it was a flop. You could actually hear the LEDs switching on and off in the signal as a note decayed from my bass. Spent the extra cash for the DBX, and I couldn't be happier!

A big step up from the DBX 266xs. Works better, sounds better. Highly recommended if you can afford it.

I like it much
I like it much. The price is affordable and manipulating sound is fun. Sidechain function is great for making interesting sound. Gate function makes my web broadcasting noiseless. Feeling of tweaking the knobs is amazing. Overall I love this product.
