adidas Men's Lucas Premiere Shoes

I love the retro styling, but I keep buying these because the Adidas Men's Lucas Premiere is the most durable, most comfortable pair of shoes I own. They're a skateboarding shoe, which means they have additional details like very abrasion resistant soles and a padded tongue that makes them perfect for adventure motorcycling. I wore the same pair on a 2,232 motorcycle ride from Seattle to Las Vegas and back in 104 degree temperatures over some of the worst, hottest asphalt in the US, then wore the same pair the following summer on a 700 mile motorcycle trip from Montana to Seattle. After all that they still look good enough to wear into a meeting. I ordered this pair as a backup for that bittersweet day when I'll need to retire my current pair. Shoes that are affordable, look good, and can tolerate this level of extreme abuse year after year is extraordinarily rare. Looking cool is just a bonus.

You don't need to size up. I listened to a review and wish I hadn't. These are nicer than the flat sambas. Provide more structure and support. Can dress up or down or wear, and my son can wear these black sneakers to work as a buser as they are mostly black and slip resistant. Love the suede vs shiney leather black samba.

Previously, my favorite Adidas shoe was the Samba Millenium. I've worn some version of the Samba for many years. The Busenitz is the most comfortable of them all. There is additional padding in the tongue and a reinforced heel. These are perfect for soccer and skating. Fits like a well broken in glove right out of the box!

I reserved this review for several months after putting them on for the first time. I wear these shoes every day. I skateboard in them every day, even when it rains. I skateboard on the streets and I skateboard in the house. I cut the grass in them and I wear them to work. I also never tie them (after the first tie). I slip them on but I still wear them tight. Despite all of the pushing my foot into them the heel has yet to yield or show any signs of collapse. I’ve been through a dozen other shoe brands and not once ever have I had one that survived as long as these have. Despite all of the abuse they still have no holes and no meaningful wear to the tread. Regardless, I just ordered a second pair to have on standby because I’m going to destroy them eventually! 10 out of 10, best skate shoe ever. :) 2022 update: finally had to switch to my backup pair because I wore a hole the tread at the ball of the foot. I got 2 solid years out of these those. Unreal. I now also have a backup-backup pair. 😅 2023 update: ordering another pair. Still a solid 10/10! Welcome to 2026, yep - still reordering the same ones every few years. I’m blown away by the quality of these shoes at this price.

Good athletic shoe, but runs very small. Adidas classic shoes run 1/2 to 1 size too big for me, but these skate shoes are very tight. I actually have to untie them when i use them on my bike. I didnt like the tongue flap, so i cut it off. I bought these shoes to wear casually, but i now use them for mountain bike riding. Usually mt bikers buy overpriced shoes (Five Ten) with special rock climbing soles, but since Adidas owns Five Ten shoe company i decided to use these for down hill biking and look stylish at the same time. The rubber compound on these shoes are very good and the soles are very stiff. Since they’re skate shoes, the padding and cushioning is very thick too. Im surprised BMX kids dont use these with flat pedals with pins. Maybe it hasnt caught on, or BMX riders dont like grip on pedals.

I am 6 to 6.5 in women’s shoe. I ordered a 5 and it fits perfect. If they stretch out they might end up being too big but I can always get thick insoles and I believe that would be fine if they stretch bc they are brand new and fit perfect.

Adidas is my brand. I was wearing an old worn out pair of Adidas skate shoes that I did not want to get rid of because they were so comfortable but they were pretty much worn out. I was not going to get skate shoes this time because my skating days are long over due to crappy health reasons but I could not find any other type of shoes I thought I would like. So I got the Busenitz. I am glad I did. They are comfortable and will only get more so as I get them broke in. They look good and feel sturdily built, Skating or not I will have these and wear these for a long time too come.

I got them today and look pretty good. Size is correct, feel very comfortable and materials feel pretty solid. I'm glad I made this purchase C

Not only do these trainers look awesome, they are bouncy and provide really good arch support. Also love that the tounge can be customised for those who wear over their jeans
