Deluxe Ghillie Suit

Well. I don't know where to start. I LOVE some thing about this product, and I dislike some others. Anyhow, here goes.I ordered this from Amazon and just received and opened it. Amazon, it seems to me, never gives a clear or accurate enough description of exactly WHAT is included in their products. But I'm a stickler for details. So this order comes with:One "Ghillie Suit." It is a net/mesh setup in the shape of a poncho, with the multicolored threads tied to the outside. It does NOT have separate pants and top, as Amazon would have you think. As it is though, I am nearly six feet tall and it goes all the way to my ankles, so I am still satisfied. But it IS one piece, NOT two. It has a neck and two hand holes in the netting. And of course a hole in the face to see out, which also lets you pull the hood back if you wish. It was also supposed to come with a "rifle wrap," which I think is the little bungle of string that isn't attached to the rest. It isn't the best if you wanna know my opinion, but it beats nothing. Maybe I'm just not using it the right way...It does not have anything at all to do with "leaves" as Amazon says, as someone else also commented there are not leaves whatsoever.The package also comes with a plastic ziploc bag full of flame retardant and instructions how to apply it. Not to hard if you wanna take the trouble, but I don't see myself needing to be flame-proof. This suit only has the last two, so you will probably have to have something camoflagy to wear under it. But you will want to wear something under it anyway, I imagine it would be slightly uncomfortable to wear "commando," as they say.Just some ending notes; I bought this as a Halloween costume, and I am also a bit of an Airsofter, and I expect this suit to perform well in both areas. I am also a big Call of Duty fan, with the ghillie suit levels being some of my favorite. I am going as one of those characters this Halloween, and I can't wait to field test this suit around my home in the country. I hope you learned something from this review. Got this last week. It is a partially put-together ghillie suit, which I think is best since they are shipping these all across the country and it gives you the opportunity to tailor it to your foliage.So here's the deal; you essentially get a fishnet like dress that have most of the fabric woven in, but they also send you a bunch of additional fabric to insert on your own. In this way, you can make it replicate the kind of camo you need for your area. It isn't hard, and, you get to determine just how invisible you want to be. In hindsight, I liked having a role in putting together my suit. And, the quality seemed fine -- which is all I can say only having had it for a week.Drawbacks: you will need to air this out for up to a week, seriously. Update: after having crawled around in this a few times, I must admit that the one-piece ghillie suit is not the best for that. Stationary? Fine. Crawling around, however, is really difficult in this dress.

The description stated that it was a "crafted leaf style burlap Ghillie Suit...Made heavy duty with polyester netting mesh, 7 camo colors, and lots of polyester leaves." There wasn't anything on the suit that even resembled a leaf, it only has two colors and not netting mesh. The description also stated that it was a, "Full body suit to cover from head to toe. Has pants, top, gun cover, and removable hood." It was a poncho that came down to just below my son's knees, has no pants, no top and no gun cover!!!! Definately not what the advertisement said I was buying!! Very disappointed!!

NOTE: i will be contacting the Seller about this product and i will be posting pictures.Anyway the Suit is just a Ghillie poncho nothing special. and it only came with a poncho the fire retardant and a small bundle of folage, no leaves, no legs, no gun camo foilage. it is very misleading and i do not recommend buying this product, its nothing like the picture and there are alot of open gaps with the netting.

If you're looking for a ghillie with pants and a gun wrap, don't get this one. It's more of a long poncho. I like it but it doesn't have what is said to be included that's why I gave it 3 stars. I should have got the one from All Preadtor Calls. This was a lesson learned for sure.

High quality! Excellent craftsmanship! I used this suit to film a short horror flick and even I jumped when I viewed it. I would recommend buying from this seller! He has excellent product!!

Many positive comments from neighbors when my son was dressed in this suit for Halloween. It is also warm which helps for NH Halloween weather.
