Good for cleaning metal surfaces
I bought this to clean superficial rust from a brake caliper prior to painting, and it did a great job at exactly that. My only complaint is that it began shedding bristles - little, sharp wires that are pretty easy to poke yourself with - pretty much immediately. I used it on an air-powered die grinder. I have no way of measuring whether I violated the RPM limit it was specified for, but I did find myself doing a bit of extra clean-up because of its tendency to shed.It survived that first use to ride again, however, so in all it's a useful addition to my tool set.

Really good wire brush
I mounted it on $10 harbor freight die grinder. Funny stuff when wire brush is more expensive than the tool itself. So far it's a really helpful tool. I did some paint removal, but I will use it mostly for the brake calipers. So far it works great. Wire brush doesn't seems to take any damage. Hopefully it will last for the long time.

Hit or Miss
These wire wheels are hit or miss. (Among all brands) mainly due to the nature and immense centripetal force that strips the wires out one by one. Sometimes you get a good one. Other times you don't. I must have gotten a dud. For the price, I expected better. Luckily I did order two at the time, the second is performing better, but not at the same level as its price point.

Brush is not 304 stainless!
I confirmed the brush listed here is in fact what was shipped (walter 13C175). The bristles of the brush pull hard to a magnet which tells me for sure its not 304 stainless steel. I know certain grades for Stainless are in fact magnetic but this one is advertised as 304 so I'm none too pleased.having said that, the brush itself is well made, good quality and durable. The problem is I wanted a stainless brush to polish up my 304 stainless welds!I've reached out to the manufacturer to find out what the brush is truly made of. If they respond I'll update this review.

When I received the brush it appeared to be of good quality and to my surprise was actually stamped for a max of 25,000 RPM. My die grinder delivers 20,000 RPM but within 30 seconds of use the brush was scattering wires by the second. I picked up 39 wires off the floor and I'm sure I'll find more in the dust pan and laundry seeing I was getting pelted with wires.

Works but not lasting
We use them for cleaning hot tar kettle flues in hard to reach areas. They work for awhile but end up throwing out their wires after 3 weeks of use.
