Starwest Botanicals Organic Raw Dandelion Root Tea [1 Pound] Bulk Cut & Sifted (C/S) Loose Tea

I've tried two other organic dandelion root products and this one is my favorite. I use it for my 'coffee' with organic, roasted chicory root granules (Anthony's brand). 1 tbsp dandelion root, 1/2 tbsp chicory steeped for 15 min in a large mug. The flavor of this dandelion root is the best- it's mild, not too bitter. The roots are smaller in size and so far the two bags I've purchased have been really clean- no weird debris as noted in other reviews. I hope the growing/harvesting practices are truly organic. This one is a bit more expensive than the other two I've tried but I think it's worth the price.

Great flavor. It’s brighter and cleaner tasting than the teabag variety from a store. Sometimes I add it to my chamomile in a French press but usually I simply put directly in a mug. Hard to describe the flavor and texture of the softened bits after the tea is gone, I like them and most of us could use the fiber. Seems a waste not to eat them and they’re soft from making the tea.

I’m fairly knowledgeable when it comes to herbs. So I knew this was exactly what I wanted. I usually buy bulk herbs on the actual websites of herb stores, but had a gift card on here so I purchased from this site. Dandelion root is honestly one of the most healing herbs, and more people should know about it! I was steeping as a tea, but another great option is buying this and making your own dandelion root tincture which would give you an amazing “bitters” tincture to take before meals that helps stimulate bile, therefore aiding in digestion. It also helps the liver detoxify. The value for the money is great. And this product was exactly what I was looking for as far as functionality and effectiveness.

After ruining this, the taste is amazing. I would give it five stars but when I received it today, it had a hole in the bottom of the bag in a little bit that came out and another bag that was wrapped around it so I don’t know how fresh it is. That’s my issue.

I make my own medicines, teas, etc. I used this as a tea in the beginning and then bought a capsule machine to begin making my own supplements. Starwest has the best herbs other than a couple of other companies that aren't on Amazon which I wish they were but having Starwest here is amazing!! I haven't received any stale or old herbs, nor have I had any issues w/stems and the such. They've always been fresh and amazing quality. I highly suggest this company and their herbs. Dandelion is good for so many issues. Please do your own research and no I'm not giving medical advice. I'm just merely stating that before you run out for things off of a shelf in a drug store or a pharmacy. Check out what herbs will do for you.

I have a cup of dandelion tea most mornings. This naturally non-caffeinated tea has many health benefits, but I drink it because it is a diuretic and measurably reduces my systolic blood pressure by around 10 points. If you believe as I do that food is medicine then this tea is for you. This version is "raw" which supposedly preserves more of the health benefits than roasted. The downside of most dandelion tea is that it can be bitter. I wouldn't add sugar but you could add lemon or you could buy the roasted kind. Don't bother trying to make this tea out of the weeds in your lawn, because I saw you put fertilizer and herbicides on your lawn and that isn't healthy at all!

I took some with me to a friend’s house and told her about the benefits of why I was drinking it and she liked it and so when I got home, I ordered her a bag and had it sent to her house.. it’s a good product and good value

Good value for money not sure if it’s organic...

Very pleasant taste. Love it! So very good for your health. Bought a special jug too to filter the dandelion root especially for this product.
