Wish the installation instructions were better but I figured it out. Works well. My grill feels brand new again.

Yes, this burner is a couple of inches smaller than the original. This is an OEM part and in my opinion superior to the previous model. The burner is one solid piece now and feels heavier than the previous version. The two halves are sealed so you don't get flame shooting up from the middle. Assembly was simple and replacing the burners was quick and easy. Four screws and a gasket to attach the tubes to the burners. There is also a bracket at the front of the venturi tubes which wasn't there on the old model. This bracket attaches with two screws to the small plate by the gas tubes which secures the burners nicely. I grilled some burgers last night and heat was consistent all around the grill. The grill also gets hotter than it did with the previous burners so I had to keep a closer watch and turn the gas down.On a separate note, the wind guard plate was still in good shape and I did not replace that. The old flavor screen was shot and I did replace that with the recommended model.

It was a little smaller than the original. The replacement tubing to put on the gas lines were to big so I had to use the old ones. Once installed the first use it smoked a lot. But now works wonderfully. Ease of installation wasn't to bad.

My old burner had rusted out so I purchased a new one.Fit perfectly as expected, but did not come with safety stabilizer.Throws a lot of heat 40K that is evenly distributed. Puts my Weber to shame which only has 32K over a larger surface area.Hopefully this will last for a number of years to justify its cost.
