Bought this for my stepdad for his birthday (tomorrow-Dec 11th). He's got pretty hairy ears and believe it or not he never knew this kind of device existed. Well, he knows these exist now and he likes it a lot! He likes it so much that he insists upon using it on my mom as well. To each their own I guess lol! As long as they're happy. Anyway, I had to get a picture of both using this. Personally, I wouldnt share a device like this but I guess you share everything after enough years of marriage.As far as the device itself, it's sturdy and has a solid feel and weight to it even before adding batteries. The top comes apart to make it easy to clean as well. It's a good buy for the money if you need one.

My wife bought this for me for my 40th birthday as a side present/joke that I now required this type of trimmer. This trimmer is great and easy to use. It is powerful enough that it neatly trims nose hairs without that pulling sensation that makes you seems to make your eyes water every time. This is what I remember from other trimmers. I suppose this relies heavily on the battery usage but all of my other nose hair stories involve crying at some point and this one finally spares me of that experience. This little guy takes only one AA battery and I have been using it occasionally every week for the last couple months with no loss in power. The width is comfortable to use and the length fits nicely as well. The battery is easy to install at the end with a simple easy twist (but secure so it doesn't come up unintentionally) and the clipper end also twists off for very easy cleaning. It has some decent weight to it too so it doesn't feel like it will break easily if dropped. I'm completely satisfied with this product.

After using my electric shaver attachment for many years to trim my ear and nose hair, I finally broke down and bought a trimmer made just for this purpose. Being a "senior", those areas need attention more often now than ever before, and I swore to myself that I would not walk around in public with long hairs poking out from my ears.As soon as I received it, I had to test it out. I expected pinching and pulling once I put the business end in my nostril, but all I heard was the slight clicking of the cutting blades trimming the hair. Same with the hair in my ears. No pulling, no snagging, no pain. This thing does what it says it does, and very effectively. I haven't had it all that long, so I can't attest to its durability yet, but to this point, I'm very pleased with it. I also can't comment on battery life, but I wouldn't think it devours batteries as I only use it about once a week and for only a few minutes at a time. Battery is easy to install/change, and even if I go through a few batteries a year, so what?I recommend this item.

This works well but is rather noisy - noisier than any other trimmer I have tried. I guess it's not a big deal, so I'll stick with it. Note that there is no manual at all explaining how to clean the device or to change batteries. It's not like it's tough to figure it out without a manual however, so again, not a big deal.

This is a great product. It arrived very fast. It is well-built and works perfectly. I have used other ear/nose trimmers with a similar style and they get very hot and are uncomfortable. I've even had some that nicked my nose or ears. This product is not like those at all. They clearly put thought into the design and the result is very comfortable trimmer. It is also a nice bonus that it is water-proof. This makes cleaning it very easy. The communication with the seller was also great. I am happy to recommend this trimmer to others.

Use the trimmer for hair in my nose and ears. Very gentle on trimming. Never snags on the hairs. Never sharp edges to hurt you. Love this trimmer had another one for many many years. Very easy to clean the trimmer when it gets full of hair. Just take off top of trimmer and it comes with a little brush to wipe out with.works on one battery.

It somewhat stinks when you make it to the age where you need one of these, but when you do, don't be shy, just take the plunge, your life will be better. Trying to cut unruly nose, ear or eyebrow hair yourself can lead to poking scissors at yourself at dangerous angles. Just like any dad would tell you -- you need the right tool for the job, and this is the right tool. I was expecting to have to pay several times the list price for something like this, and so I was thrilled when I was able to get it for the price listed above. I was also somewhat worried about a snag or other issue in using it, but no problem. This is the most simple device that you can have, and every man over 40 should have. Buy now.

Battery kept moving around causing trimmer to go on and off and on and...you get the picture. Never bought a product on Amazon with such great reviews overall yet, in my opinion, that is such a poor product. In addition, although I didn’t expect an extremely well-made product for the price, not only didn’t the product work, it is so cheaply made it’s actually way overpriced. Try one like a Wahl (well known name with reputation to protect) that has blade sticking out instead of the circle design, and be a bit careful using it.
