Yes, I have really long hair also have a dog and it helped get the hairs onto the floor where I could hoover them. If you mean like lint and dust hairs, I would use a micro fibre cloth with some window cleaner.

I haven’t but I suppose you could. You are right it is softer than the normal kitchen ones butIve always assumed that’s so you wouldn’t scratch the tiling.
