This fountain is a bit smaller than I'd initially thought it would be, however it is a very unique piece and I'm very happy with my purchase. It does resemble the natural stone look which makes it appealing. I did find that it must be filled completely with water up to the top as the pump requires that due to the way it sits, but it was not an issue. You just need to make sure you keep the water level up for it to properly function. I turned up the pump so it has a heavier flow of water circulating. The pump and sound of water is quiet, there is relatively no noise and not much of a water sound but enough that this piece still attracts attention as a conversation piece due to the design of it. The pump is small, I don't know how long it will last but the bowl underneath is large enough that I have another small fountain pump I believe will work if I must replace at some point. Set up was as simple as attaching the pump and filling it with water. You should be aware that there is no off switch on the cord and it has no lighting as some other fountains do. I believe those would have been attractive features to have incorporated for this fountain but I still am enjoying it anyway. It does not have an annoying water trickling sound which is nice, everyone has commented on liking the design and is surprised it is not made of stone as it appears like a heavy piece. I feel it's adequate to the price I paid and the functionality of it has been fine for a small desk sized indoor fountain. I use it in my office and I think it's a nice feature for that purpose as it doesn't leak water or splash out.

The first one I received was damaged and after contacting the seller a replacement was shipped before I even had a chance to drop this one off at the UPS store. The fountain pumpMakes a little noise but it is hardly noticeable. I'm using it in my chameleon terrarium and have been running it 24hrs a day 7 days a week with no problems. The flow can be adjusted with a small tab on the pump. I am using water from my well to fill it and have not had any trouble. The chameleon gets some moss and crickets in the water from time to time, this has not affected the performance and I clean the fountains water reserve every 2 weeks or so. It is made from a resin like material that will break if you drop it so be careful when moving or cleaning it. The fountain looks great and I am very happy with it. It is small but that is perfect for what I am using it for. It would look nice on a desk and not take up much space.

First take was it was definitely small. But ok, still liked the design. Well, hmm, no instructions as to how the pump suctions inside the base - doesn't line up. And to stop the pump from buzzing louder than the fountain had to put stones around the pump to keep it from free floating inside the fountain (thus causing the buzz). Then, since it's so small, the water splashes out of the unit - enough that I have to place something all around the fountain to absorb the splash. Would return but as I said, like the design. Not worth the effort.

It's a quiet fountain, so do not buy it if you really like the sound of running water. However, it is a beautiful little fountain for a desk, and the style of it gives off vibes of peace and serenity. It's quite unique-looking. As I said, it is rather small, but it fits perfectly on my desk at work.

I was looking for a little decorative fountain to give a very small indoor "greenhouse" some decoration. It is small....so just make sure you look at the dimensions before you buy. Also i can confirm with other reviewers that it does NOT make any "splashing"/water noise..... so if that's why your buying a fountain then this is not for you. Personally i think its more relaxing to watch the water, I really like the way it flows off the hand.The base is a bit plain, i would suggest putting some stones around. There was a slight vibrations, so i guess you might have to watch what you put it on?.... as of now the motor/pump is super quiet

I have had this for more than 1 year and the fountain continues to work great! It leaves a relaxing water sound.

This item was one of my biggest disappointments. I couldn’t wait to get this item but the price I paid and how small it was I couldn’t believe wasn’t even worth making an issue of. Works fine a simple water sprinkler that just funnels water as if it was a waterfall which is pretty neat. Water dissolves so you just keep refilling it maybe weekly or bi weekly but besides that it’s just so small fits in hand size that disappointed me the most. Def expected it to be a good proper size to sit in corner of room on display but so small tho still cool just way smaller than thought would have been.
