Richardson After Dinner Chocolate Mint Candy 1LB Bag

Twenty two bucks for a tiny bag... I relied on the photo description of the person holding the bag 10” tall. I suppose if you lay them out flat...

Not even a full pound bag. Seller does not accept returns. Very disappointed!

It seems these are Not the original Richardson After Dinner Mints.The first thing I noticed was the color is wrong- these are pastel, the originals are very bright and vividly colored. To be fair, they match the picture from the vendor perfectly, Although I thought it was a poor photograph when I ordered, now I see that there is a brighter version being offered by Richardson, which I will be trying out. The only offer from Richardson in the bright is almost 40.00 at the moment that I could see, I just thought I was purchasing a smaller amount with a lighter photograph.2nd of all, the flavor was 'off'... I Love these mints so much that I used to keep them in a gumball machine for easier snacking. I am extremely familiar with the flavor and texture of my favorite mint! :)3rd, the texture of the mint inside was wrong- it's a pretty complicated texture, kind of a smooth creamy crunch, and hard to duplicate. To be fair, they got it pretty close! But horseshoes and hand grenades, as they say...These points together gave me to feel that they were stale, or spoiled in some fashion. With the Wierd taste and Odd texture and wrong color- *I* sure didn't feel like eating them! But just to make Sure....I gave one to my hubby to try (this is Rogers Wife writing with Roger (my hubby's) account) , and he snarfed it down and said it tasted great. Of course, he isn't a connisuer of the original. ;)I said I was going to return them because they just tasted Wrong to me, to which he offered to do disposal services, and I did the good wife thing and offered them to him.I just found out he 'disappeared the entire bag in a sitting. He is Not a 'large' man, or a particular fan of candy- so I have to take it that they Tasted pretty darn Good to Him!So, I won't say "Do Not get these!" If you aren't as much of a fan of the original mints as *I* am, perhaps they will do you just fine!I'm off to go order the originals, make a little goodie bag for the hubster, and Hide the rest, since he offered to help dissappear those as well!They came in a timely manner.To me, I feel like I got a faudulent, or barring that a Stale yukky product, my hubby gives them 2 slightly sticky thumbs up. ;)I will write a review on the other mints once I receive and try them out.Thanks for reading!Roger's Wife ♡

I ordered directly from Amazon and did receive original Richardson Mints. A restaurant we frequent gives wrapped and labeled Richardson Mints as we leave. Pastel colors exactly like the ones I received from Amazon. Tasty--as expected. Unfortunately, a pound is smaller than I hoped, but it's really plenty to last awhile. Never enough of these wonderful mints, but always too much of me after eating them!

One pound? Seriously? Hardly worth the price paid for it. And they’re NOT the original candies. These have pastel colors with a dull finish. The originals are vibrant colors with a shiny finish. Taste is inconsistent from mint to mint. What a ripoff.

Don't buy Richardson mints from this company I just got a bag and they were so stale I could not eat them or break them with my teeth . Go to the Vermont candy company . Their candy is always fresh , and I have dealt with them before .

Purchased these because they are an after dinner lint at a local fancy restaurant. I plan to give these as a gift to my mom, who especially loves them. They have great flavor there and I’m sure these ones will too, but I haven’t tried it yet so I’m not sure of the flavor. Let me just say though, this is very small. I expected it to be big and full like the picture, but the thickness is not there. And, the bag is very small. Value for money is very little. However, it is still something! I paid 15 dollars and if they are as good as they are at the restaurant, I’ll take it! :) Also, in the picture you can see a normal thin sharpie sitting next to the mints.

These are my absolute favorite chocolate mints, and this seller consistently delivers very fresh and well-packaged candies.From other sellers, I’ve received inconsistently fresh and nearly-stale mints.If you love Richardson Gourmet Mints or even if you’re just considering trying this chocolate mint candy for the first time, I highly recommend purchasing this product.Enjoy!
