Baby Calendula Comforting Body Lotion, Plant Rich Moisturizer with Calendula, Chamomile, Sweet Almond and Sesame Oils, 6.8 Fl Oz

Great for my sensitive, fair-skin (on my face, body and hands). I feel it has made the skin on my face appear smoother and younger. However, I switched to 100% unrefined, organic coconut oil for my babies and toddlers because it is amazing (the smell is wonderful, they can eat it too, and after it gets absorbed by the skin, they feel soooo soft! ) The Weleda lotion is sticky because it contains natural oils that have been thinned and mixed/emulsified (my guess) by the alcohol people complain about, but the lotion lasts a long time, and the initial sticky feeling goes away as the skin absorbs it, and it hydrates for a long time. The smell is a semi-strong-herbal that isn't gross. However, the smell and sticky texture just didn't seem right for my babies, plus I was told by a"natural" baby expert that it is best to use natural oils on babies that are actually edible, like coconut oil, so I started using the Weleda on myself. This was a "happy accident," because I really grew to love the Weleda lotion for me, especially on my face and dry hands! Please consider trying unrefined, organic coconut oil for your babies and children instead. Trader Joes sells it.

Wonderful, lightweight and natural lotion. Absorbs fast, just don't use much. It's a wonderful winter moisturizer for baby face and while body after the shower or simply before going outside in cold weather. Other heavier creams clog her pores and cause tiny bumps, but if I only use this lotion on her face (very small amount) her skin becomes soft and sort of elastic! Tiny flakes disappear and condition of some sort if dermatitis also goes away. I personally use on legs, arms, hands and on cheeks( due to rosacea). First wash my face with Weleda calendula shampoo and body wash(the one in the yellow tube) then put Phylosophy serum when hope is not enough (the firming oil-free) and after that dot tiny amount of this baby lotion only on cheeks where I have stubborn dry tight skin. Honestly this combo cleared my acne prone face and made it look tight and non oily, added hydration and just refined it! I recommended those products to my friends and now all of us use it. Serum is the most expensive ($43) but it last for a long time and worth every penny. All of this products are excellent, I won't use anything else ever!

I've been using this lotion ever sine 2012 since my first born was born. I've used it on my daughter since she was born in 2014 and she still uses it and she's ten years old! I use it as well because I know it is safe for my body and it smells so good and fresh. Not only does it smell nice, the lotion moisturizes really well. I use it all over my body as well as my face during the days when it gets really dry.

Best baby lotion. It is easy to spread, absorbs into my babies skin and leaves my baby smooth. Smells amazing too! I love Weleda products. It does not cause sensitivity and this is perfect because we all have super sensitive skin.

My absolute favorite baby lotion. Its soooo moisturizing and saved my baby’s dry skin. Only warning I have is to not put it on your baby’s face, I think because it’s so thick and moisturizing it clogged my baby’s pores a bit and caused him to have some baby acne. When I stopped using it on his face the acne went away. That being said though I will 100% continue to use it on his body because it works so well for dry skin, I just got a thinner product to use for his face.

I bought this thinking it was the Calendula Body Oil which I love and highly recommend. The lotion is very good but not as great as the oil. It is thick and seems very moisturizing but it doesn't soak in as well as the oil does and the oil is better for infant massage which I do as part of my baby's bedtime routine. This is still a great product without a lot of chemicals for your little one and the smell is the same as the oil which I find soothing and not overpowering. I have found that babies, at least my babies, don't need any lotion at all to keep their skin moisturized so I like using the oil because I just use it for massage and it doesn't leave my baby greasy or slippery. But, if you prefer a lotion, this is a great one to choose. Just keep in mind that a little goes a long way so if you use it sparingly this bottle should last a few months.

Love this baby lotion. I even use it on my own face sometimes.

Highly recommend? Excellent on sensitive and dry grown-up skin. The fragrance of chamomile is subtle and clean. Paired with the matching moisturizer, these products are a lightweight, lightly fragranced way to nourish your skin. If Weleda made a matching hair conditioner, I’d try it right away.

As a mum of a 2 years old toddler ,I would definitely give this product a 10/10. This is An amazing moisturizer for babies sensitive skin .it’s has a nice mild orange scent .it’s not too greasy and the texture is really good ,it’s not too thick either . it’s also very moisturizing ..it blends easily leaving a glowy finish .. The ingredients are perfectly incorporated with natural oils.this is highly recommended for babies .. it’s a good buy .
