I did have to remove some things from the bag such as corn, peas, nuts, and raisins for my mice. Other than that, it’s pretty good!

I loved the variety, and knew that Pete, our darling Rat would too - Well I thought he would and after he dove into it and could hardly stop except to take various pieces to his private home, I knew I could give it five stars for taste. I wanted something special for him for a change, and this was The very best I have seen.

Excellent price point for having it shipped to your door vs going to pet store. We raise rats and they love the combination of veggies in the blend. We feed ours the grain blocks mixed with this feed blend to help round out their diet, along with some fresh fruits and veggies. We have tried a lot of foods and this is one of the products that has become a staple as it contain any alfalfa as far as we know which rats shouldn’t be snacking on.

We noticed a lot of the previous food we were giving them was going untouched. Good reviews left by others on this product gave me good feelings about how our nice would take it. We have noticed a big difference in their activity since changing to this food, even their poos look healthier!(I have federal licenses for grain inspection, and the grain that is in this food has very little to no germ damage and no shrunken/broken pieces that I have found.)

My rats love this food. Only bad thing is seems lately there have been grain or rice beetles in my house since my last couple of orders of the product. Never had them in my house before so have to assume they're in the pet food. Luckily I can just freeze the food to kill any in it.Only major complaint is I wish there were more nuts than tiny seeds and grain.

I like to taste test everything my rats eat so I know they are eating the best.

Our rats (2 sets in 2 different family member's homes) mostly love this but consistently will not eat the tiny round seeds in it, which leaves about 25% or more wasted of every bag, and we haven't found anything they won't eat otherwise. We've mixed extra fresh food in with them and dribbled juice from fresh fruits and veggies onto them when they're the only thing left to entice them into eating them but no go. Really wish Brown's would replace these seeds with different bigger seeds or nuts. We only continue to buy it because we haven't found another similar kind that has a majority of the ingredients they love in it, nor have we found the ingredients to buy individually. Price on here with delivery has been raised to over 2x local stores also.

There is a lot of variety in this mix. Our two fancy mice especially like the pumpkin seeds.This does include corn kernels. Reading online, there are some concerns about tumors in mice from ingesting corn. It is easy to pick out if that is a worry. It isn't loaded with corn so you wouldn't be tossing much away.
