can you adjust the arms down behind the ears?

I think an optician could, the arms are rigid plastic and would need heating to reset

are these medicated? I have 20/20 vision and I don't want these to damage my eyes

Me to I have 2020 vision so you just have to go onto 0 magnification and you will just get the blue light lens

How do you find out which magnification you need?

These are basically magnifiers mounted on glasses. Anything above 1.5 is only required if you need to work hands-free on something extremely small, like a niddle or PCB. I use 2x and 3x to investigate issues with my circuit boards. Also you need to be close to it. For reading, 1 or 1.5 is usually fine.
